It was never a foul fs He totally throws himself to the ground after Hamilton (I think?) wins it. Mehmet should be doing better though. Once again popadom wrists costing us.

Be as well just not bothering if that's the standard of referee. Genuinely disgraceful.

First derby I've been to at Starks in donkeys and haven't been this "meh" about the fixture in my life tbh. Probably an indictment of our season overall tbh.

No Kane up front is shite. Bit of a bold move to play KRH and Bene especially from the start. Thankfully MWH is fit after that horror tackle.

Maybe 400 tickets still left to go for the away end. Should be near full for kick-off, given how last minute a lot of football fans tend to be with digital ticketing. Decent effort given the pricing and how pish we have been this season.
As for the media comments from us: I think it would have been best just to say nothing at all, and TRY to do the talking on the park, but Raith fans, as usual, taking things a bit too seriously and getting incandescent with rage. Christ knows what they'll be like if we win today and Dundee United beat Arbroath.
If Kane is back and MWH is fit despite taking studs to the knee, it'll give us the best opportunity today. Not sure about Bene coming in for this as his first game since being out.

If Kane isn't back, then I struggle to see us getting anything. Mad how toothless we look up front without him.
Now that we have more options, I think McPake needs to rotate a bit. McCann is 100% needing dropped, and Summers should not be starting either. Paul Allan has had his best games for us the past few games, and has a good delivery from set pieces, so would be harsh to drop him. If Kane is fit, I'd be tempted to have him up front with KRH and Moffat as the wide options. Midfield of Todd, Otto, and Allan. Defence just the usual with what we've seen, but maybe McPake would be tempted to throw Bene in given his experience?

We were poor after the second goal, but up til then we completely dominated and missed some good opportunities: the kind you've come to expect Matty to bury. On another day, he gets himself a brace or even a hattrick. Need to just get back to the drawing board and prepare for a crucial derby. Still think we have enough about us to be finishing 8 at least. I won't get too disheartened about that tonight. Just never happened for us and we ended up blowing out our arse chasing the game.

Very frustrating. The second goal just totally sapped anything we had to give, and you seen that in the players movement and body language. Despite our decent play and dominance, we didn't make it pay. All fart and no jobby.
Can't really argue much else apart from not being able to finish out chances. Todd could have had a hat-trick in the first half. Could have played all day and not score.

Just blow FT. We are totally goosed.

Pish defending again. Don't take your chances, you'll never win games.
Can't see us getting back in to this at all.

Only got ourselves to blame if we don't win this (that's if we keep up the same tempo 2nd half) Should be sitting handsome and also a man up, but referees being shitebags shocker.

Mehmet not at fault or just looked his usual rooted self from where I sit?
IMO I don't think there was anything Mehmet could have done. It was an exceptional ball in but our defending is poor.

Get Summers off for Moffat or KRH.
Agreed. I'm sure he'll have a good career, but a total luxury player we can't afford to have in this division. At least Moffat is a bit more nippy and can open things up as well. KRH maybe worth the shot given his legs weren't the recent issue.

Straight leg, studs straight into the knee, red card all day long. Horrendous challenge.
Yep. It was a stonewaller.

FS Matty. Should be bread and butter these chances he has had.

Frizzell should be off. That is a shocking challenge.

Fucking shockerooni. Absolutely pish defending.

Todd should have a brace. Better not regret these chances.

Todd should be scoring there.

FS having to shoot towards the Norrie again in the first half. Absolutely hate it.

Chris Kane being out is a huge blow. KRH on the bench, however, is glorious.
We have so many options from the bench now. Almost can't believe it given the make-up of the squad over the winter.

Will the pars shit the bed once again? Will the under-soil flooding malfunction?
Im pretty sure karma will be at play here and so we will come away with all 3 points.
At least you aren't wound up whatsoever, eh?
"Karma" Fucking FB maw pish that patter.

Their defence was meant to be "cobbled together" the past few times we have played them.

With a (pretty much) fully fit squad, we are clearly a decent team. We haven't been able to chop and change when necessary like we did yesterday for absolutely ages. This gives me great confidence. The only thing I am worried about is the pitch making it a poor watch, giving the game a kind of lottery factor.
Same team that beat Ayr but I'd maybe swap McCann for Jakubiak. No point risking Bene, especially when the pitch is so choppy.
