  1. I like when you show the occasional glimpse of intelligence.
  2. People are swayed by what they read in the papers and what they see on the news. Especially a heavy bombardment like we've seen from Team Westminster. That's just a fact of life.
  3. Still H_B Still scrambling for relevance
  4. My in laws are in their mid 60s and they're staunch Yes voters. They're also sound as f**k.
  5. How long did it take you to google that straw-grasping nonsense?
  6. This. H_B's entire demeanour on this sub-forum has changed completely in the last 2 - 3 weeks. Gone is the perma smug, supercilious H_B, replaced by a chap who's "always thought it would be tight" and who thinks "we should all get on, whatever the result". Now, knowing that H_B can't completely change, I'll address his pedantry now and say that the content of the above inverted commas is me paraphrasing, rather than a direct quote.
  7. Correct. It takes a Yes voter to spot the shortcomings of a No voter.
  8. Yeah, I didn't think I'd get anything from H_B on the above. Funny that.
  9. That's not what I asked. I'm aware of how the mechanics work. On what grounds?
  10. Okay then, I'm all ears. You tell me why bookies are drifting Yes out right now when no one has the slightest clue what is happening.
  11. The bookies, as the pollsters, have no idea what they're fucking doing. The only reason to push Yes out now would be to get more bets lumped on.
  12. Like all the recently joined No voters on here you are a swivel eyed simpleton. The only thing weaker than your collective banter is your lack of balls. I await your inbred "comeback".
  13. Are your neighbours all therangers fans?
  14. Alright. He's a fanny. A lovable fanny, but a fanny nonetheless.
  15. What I don't get about these selfish old folk is they're putting their own interests above those of their grandkids. I can't get with that level of selfishness. Personally, I'm similar to Renton. I have a job, a pension, a mortgage, a wife and 2 kids. I don't stand to gain personally from a Yes vote, but I'm not voting for me.
  16. As NWA once said, f**k the polls. We've got this.
  17. And this is what all this shite, and it is shite, is meant to instill - a sense of doubt. f**k em. Yes will win. Keep the heids up, folks. ETA: They're probably just glum having to talk to you, Godzookie.
  18. I can't be arsed trawling as I'm not as asinine a person as you, but I dispelled this bullshit from you last time, Tony.
  19. yeah I don't think i'll be clicking a link supplied by a proven bigot.
  20. I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I just found the following: http://endpropaganda.wordpress.com/2014/09/02/scottish-referendum-poll/ You can stick your Yougovs, your Survations and your IPSOS/Mori's. Here's a poll with almost 65,000 respondents: I live in Scotland and will be voting YES 72.59% (46,993 votes) I live in Scotland and will be voting NO 16.04% (10,386 votes) If I could vote I'd vote YES 7.29% (4,719 votes) If I could vote I'd vote NO 4.07% (2,636 votes) Total Votes: 64,734
