Don’t know about the owner but I’m sure McCabe and Fordyce are cousins.

Very bold move. Didn’t know McCabe was involved in coaching or anything, let alone being close to taking on a management role. Good luck to him but I feel this could completely backfire. It’s a tough time for a club in your position; performed well last season but failed to go up, with a number of players and the manger tempted by offers elsewhere.

Not the most exciting appointment we’ll make, but the list of potential candidates itself wasn’t all that exciting, barring Campbell, Petrie and Ross. I hope the suspected clear-out of coaching staff brings us something different. Can’t say I’d be too enamoured with the prospect of Dorrans being a player/coach but it’ll be refreshing to have new faces in with different ideas than what we’ve had for the last couple of years. Hope we see a lot of changes at the club now with Cook in and a ‘restructuring’ of the board. Change was needed and by all accounts we’re getting it, hope we start to see some news regarding contracts soon now and hopefully some exciting signings to follow.

Can’t see Hughes being bitter about anything at all. I’m sure he’ll talk highly about the Club, including the fans. I’d be surprised if he had much to say other than mentioning being a bit unlucky, only 1 or 2 games away from staying up, working under difficult conditions and wishing the club the best. Can’t see it being any more ‘tasty’ than that.

I’m sure it’s Stirling where the local goths hang about an area where an Argos is and they are nicknamed the Argoths. Deserves its city status for that incredible piece of patter alone.

If there’s one change we’ll see after achieving city status, I hope it’s this. I don’t see how it’s so difficult to have a direct rail link from Dunfermline to Glasgow via Alloa/Stirling.

Have to say, Rangers’ fitness standards are fucking incredible. Of course their players are technically better, but their fitness has won this above anything else.
