Did Masterton have them all saved in his notebook? -

Would be hugely surprised if Sibbald signed for us. Apart from being comfortably above League One level, if he did have to move on from Livi I’m sure he’d have other options than to sign for a club he clearly hates. Unless it’s a PCA that was tied up weeks ago, I’d be worried if Hughes was bringing in players as that’s a pretty big hint he’s staying My money’s on it being a windup. ETA just realised it’s been confirmed he’s leaving Livi. Still can’t see us signing for us tbh, as much as that’d be a welcome signing. -

Would have preferred Queen’s Park to stay down. Airdrie is a pish away day and I reckon they’ll be stronger next season. -

Desperately clutching at straws but I’m reading that statement again, looking for any clue he won’t be here. I hope to f**k this is suggesting there’ll be a fair clear out. It would be a bit mad of the club to acknowledge how shit things were last season and talk about all this change that needs to happen, only to keep the same old diddy in charge who was brought in to avoid exactly what has happened. Like everyone else, I’m shitting mon pantaloons more and more that Hughes is staying. What an absolute mess we’d be in. -

Dom is likely out on the pish for Celtic’s title party and being a naughty wee boy. -

Think you’ve just answered your own question there. Make no sense to hold off sacking the manager and waiting for the right time. If you decide you’re going to sack someone, you do it when you’ve decided that’s what’s best. It’d also be daft to wait weeks to sack him whilst other clubs are appointing new managers and making signings. The Club need to announce it very soon, if he is going. Cook et al said their focus is on rebuilding relationships with the fans, keeping us all waited in announcing how our coaching and playing staff looks for next season won’t help that one bit. -

Think you’re spot on, Callum. Paying a fee/compensation should be a bit of an investment. We’re spending money on players and watching them go for f**k all, for a variety of reasons, including being absolutely gubbins and players being free to go at the end of their contract with no reason to stay at Dunfermline. -

Tbh I didn’t mind paying a fee for Turner. Clearly has/had potential at the time of signing and there was plenty competition. Similar to Ryan, just a shame it didn’t work out. -

I’m sure Andy Ryan was the first player we paid a fee for in a long time. It was a big signing, a bit of a statement that we were paying actual money, and said a lot about Ryan’s ability and form at the time. Since then, it feels (might be overestimating it in my head) like we’ve bought quite a few players including Chalmers who have been, at best, completely average, and weren’t exactly expected to be a lot better than that. Didn’t we pay a fee for Kyle MacDonald, for example? McArthur has been praised for at least having some business sense, but there’s been some frivolous spending followed up by some ‘times are tough’ statements from the Club over the last couple of years. Might be wrong on a few things there, the thought of paying a fee for Joe fucking Chalmers just seems ridiculous, considering how significant it seemed to be coughing up for a player about 5 years ago. -

I’ll no longer accept anything else unless it’s Davina McCall standing outside Charlie D’s announcing each contract termination, followed by “how about one more?!?” -

I can imagine a fair bit of scepticism from Fleetwood fans. Poaching a coach from a team relegated to Scotland’s third tier will have the ‘my nan’ lot in some state. -

If McArthur was still here I wouldn’t have ruled it out but I really can’t see it happening. -

Get the managerial appointment right and in good time, ST sales could comfortably pass last year’s. Hold on to Hughes (or appoint another fud), however, we’ll struggle to hit 1000. Hopefully Cook being around for a few months means he’s been able to see what’s gone so horribly wrong at the club and that he can rectify them quickly. -

I mind beating St Johnstone at McDiarmid early on before we’d lost a game and the fans chanting “we are unbeatable.” Some laugh that was.
