  2. Surprised at that. The view is fine and the lower ceiling and fewer seats helps make a better atmosphere. Often when teams Ayr’s size come to EEP and get put in the Cowden end behind the goal, they’ve brought enough to warrant being there but not enough to make a decent atmosphere, which requires about 1000 IMO. I think he’s slotted in quite well, especially during home games (like everyone else) he seems to have a clear role and does it well. Ayr fans were regularly put in the Cowden end prior to covid.

  4. Shields and Whittaker took the team that day, PG was already away. Shut the f**k up Boab, let me look intelligent.
  5. Interesting to see we haven't lost at home since Boxing Day. We haven't lost at home in front of fans since 6th November; Peter Gran't last game.
  6. Aye. It'd be mad if we drew this game and then ended up on the same points, GF and GA and finished 8th based on GD in H2H vs Ayr. Not exactly impossible either.
  7. In Grant's 13 league games we managed 7 points, in the 20 games since Hughes took over we have taken 25 points. Yogi hasn't exactly been a raging success but that's a far better record than we had with Grant.
  8. Really strange of Sportscene to put a 7-0 Celtic game well behind a 1-0 Aberdeen Ross County game but before a 2-2 in the Dundee derby.

  10. Matty Todd has been beaming with confidence at right back in the last couple of weeks. Hopefully he’s up against a LB low on confidence.
  11. Sounds like something English folk would call Chappy.

  13. “Up to a fiver” according to the tweet. Haven’t bothered comparing ticket prices but that suggests some will save less than that. I know cash is tight but that’s a pretty feeble promotion. If you’re getting rid of his current legs you’ll need to be quick to get the prosthetics on before Baracus and his pram get a hold of the poor boy.
  14. Wordle 293 5/6 [emoji834][emoji834] [emoji834][emoji834] [emoji834][emoji834] [emoji834] 70%+ possession for 90 minutes, stubborn defence, late winner at the back post.
  15. I’m sure there would have been plenty saying things not far off it prior to new year.
  16. Making such a significant change really isn’t necessary for eradicating/counteracting something like time-wasting. Refs should just add on an appropriate amount of stoppage time if it has been that bad.
  17. Special mention to Musonda and Benedictus for being utterly shite last night.
  18. Wordle 292 4/6 [emoji834][emoji834][emoji834][emoji834] [emoji834][emoji834][emoji834] [emoji834][emoji834] Having a bit of a shocker in April so far, don’t think I’ve done better than 4.
  19. Aye, Edwards and Dom look to have built a brilliant partnership. In the last few games they’ve shown they have a great understanding of each other. Also, Dom on the club’s Instagram; “always good to get a wee victory over them.” I really, really, really fucking love him.
  20. That was one of Edwards’ best games in a Pars jersey. He had a terrific game. That’s been one of the few occasions where the players had a job, knew what it was, and did it really well. The team and individual performances were all spot on tonight, apart from the wasted chances.
  21. Lawless is an important player in the system we’re trying to play just now. He’s creative, energetic and direct. Haven’t seen much/anything wrong with what he’s done in the last few weeks.
