  1. Thought first half hearts were poor, probably the poorest I've seen us this year (I missed the Motherwell game). Also St mirren pressed us man for man and forced us long which we were only too happy to oblige with. I said to my mate they can't do that for 90 minutes and I think second half they dropped deeper.

Gordon has kept us in the game big time and then once we scored we settled a bit and ended the game stronger.

If I was a st mirren fan I'd be disappointed not to take anything there.

    You've heard wrong.

Hibs and Hearts both have around 13,000 Season Ticket holders each. For the Jambos on here, next time you make a final against one of the arsecheeks, forget 50/50 splits.

Hearts have 13k St holders, Hibs last numbers announced were 10k iirc. Not that it matters, St are for home league games.

Choosing random metrics to suit your argument isn't how fairness works. Celtic have been to plenty cup finals recently so their season ticket holders have probably all had a chance to get to one or two, Hibs fans maybe 10 times in their lives. Maybe hibs should get more based on that....

Regardless the ticket allocation and celtic always getting the same end isn't acceptable. I've emailed Hearts and FOH, it's a dangerous precedent to set and it may well be us next time.

  3. Thoroughly enjoyable game of football.

Hearts were two up but wasn't anything in it at that point, Hearts slightly ahead at half time was fair. In the end a comfortable win and probably could've been more Goals in the game.

Dundee United are a good team, beaten by the better team today though.

Moore was excellent as he always has been when played. Glad to see mcenef get on the scoresheet aswell.

Correct. That new stand wee budge blew way too much on (whilst failing to add more corporate space) that looks like an 80s office block from the outside doesnt persuade me Tynecastle isnt also shit.

The 80's office block still looks better than 90% of Scotlands grounds. The corporate space gag is lost on me, if anything we have more space than we planned for.

Back to the football, Aberdeen ragged dolled us second half at Tynecastle. We have improved since then and Aberdeen have turned a wee corner. Should be a few goals in thus I reckon.

It's clear from Robbie Neilson's comments he's inciting violence against the travelling Dundee support.

Pipe up near the away end at around 3pm and it will indeed be medicine day for you.

The only vemon within the ground will be from Ann Budgeys jaw as she decimates her trough of pies.

    Thank you.

That's ridiculous. I would prefer away fans as it just seems 'right' to me. But, I can understand some fans being frustrated if they were moved from a seat they had paid a hefty sum for, to accomodate opposition fans.

I suppose they are being moved for the nonsense red zones rather than opposition fans. If rangers turned round and said we only have 48k seats and 48k season ticket holders I'd say fair enough. It's not the case though and they seem to be trying to go tit for tat with the other lot.

I agree with you. I'm saying we should be letting away fans in but we are already having to move ST holders because of this pathetic 'red zone'. So it would involve them having to be relocated elsewhere. Are Hearts season ticket holders already having to be relocated due to the restrictions? Genuine question btw.

Yeah the red zones have effected us too. Bizarrely my friend has been in every stand this season as they are being relocated weekly rather than a semi permanent seat.

A bit early but I would be interested if Hearts have any feedback from their Covid ‘trial’.  At the game it was all very cordial, if you had a pass head for pass guy, if not head straight in.  At pass guy I showed my paper copy, he had a glance, thanked me and sent me on into the ground.

Will they have gleaned anything from that?

At the gorgie end they just asked en masse if people had the passports. Never checked or asked anyone specifically, in fact I seen them tell someone offering to show theirs that they didn't need to see it.

Tbh its unworkable and I don't envy anyone being asked to check them.

No I agree. We should be able to accommodate it somehow. But it is a bit more tricky than giving us tickets for a ground that is going to have a stand or two empty anyway.

Away fans deserve to see their team. That's an issue beyond Scottish football pettiness.

It's not tricky and tbh it's a bit arrogant to suggest you shouldn't get the favour returned.

I think if we aren't given tickets then we shouldn't be letting your fans in.

No one had beaten Hibs until they came to Ibrox. Where your fairytale ends (hopefully).

FWIW I completely agree with you about the coverage and the away fans situation. However, Rangers and C****c are in a tricky and unique spot due to the amount of season ticket holders. Those comparing it to our fans going to other grounds is a false equivalence.

You saying Rangers can't give away fans a few hundred tickets? They were willing to give celtic tickets if the reciprocated so that's obviously bullshit.

  11. Thought Hearts were pretty dominant first half until a few minutes left and Motherwell came into it a bit.

Devlin, Woodburn and especially Beni were very good in midfield and we look so comfortable in possession. Silly from their keeper for the pen, gave us the early goal that meant we'll had to come out and try play.

I think Motherwell were better second half and created a couple chances themselves. Two good teams but hearts better on the day.

Ref watch, thought he was good first half but lost it a bit in regards the cards.

  12. Thought the first half hearts shaded it but lacked 2 or 3 quality players. Playing defensive wing backs then also wide players like ginelly and GMS doesn't do it for me. It's all a bit disjointed and ends up 5 at the back really. Thought Halliday was terrible. We lumped high balls at boyce most of the second half. We really need more strikers, our bench was so weak.

After we scored it was Aberdeen who dominated and you would've thought it was Hearts who were off the back of a midweek journey to Asia. Browns a c**t, still gets away with murder from refs. Can understand why his own fans will love him but he's a fanny.

Never heard anything about piper alpha, tbh I've never heard it and I've been going for 30 odd years. Heard worse from a few cretins aimed towards Emmanuel Thomas.

Here's one that got away, as Jason Talbot decider to leave his stud marks on Sam Nicholson's face. The ref didn't give a red card at the time, think it was a yellow,  but it got a retrospective ban after our tv guy posted the pics up for the papers to get, then the compliance officer saw it.

    See the source image

Dunno if it comes under daft, or just wild, stoater of a tackle though. Here's the after shot of the damage.

Injuries sustained by Nicholson from the challenge. Picture: Hearts FC

Was in disbelief at the game when it was a yellow! Pretty sure Talbot done it 1 or 2 more times to other players after that.

  14. I expect a bit of a revenge thumping in this one, we won't get away with having as little possession and getting a result this time.

Pretty poor show from them not giving us any tickets in essentially a full capacity minus "red zone". Makes you expect Hearts to return the favour by cutting their allocation at Tynecastle.

  15. Much better from Hearts, we need to play on the front foot all the time in this league. We were far too passive in the first game.

After the red card it was game over, Raith will be happier with their three points from six than Hearts will but we move on hopefully with an improvement in application.

Raith fans are much sounder than their Dunfermline counterparts.
