  1. Oh yeah it's the versatility of his shiteness that's so breathtaking. I think all he's got left to tick off on his 'classic goalkeeper howler' bingo card for this season is conceding an own goal after taking a fresh swipe at a pass back, or kicking the ball off an opponent into the net.
  2. There's a delightful symmetry to the team now. We're lacking a recognised striker up at the top to compliment the lack of a goalkeeper at the back. Perfect.
  3. My response was a little aggressive I admit, and I do try to red dot on here as little as possible these days. It's a testament to how much of a pisser last weekend, as well as this season this season as a whole has been that a reminder of a final we lost before I was even born just immediately hacked me off.
  4. It'll be us. Our game is at Livingston and we've got a horrific record through there. The only recent exception is a win in the league cup earlier this season when our players were celebrating their first managerial sacrifice of the season.
  5. I'd made my peace with going down when we were 5 points behind going into the Hibs game, before the 3 wins on the trot got hopes up. f**k right off United.
  6. Absolutely cacking it for this one, so at this point I'd take that if your crystal ball says Killie are getting beat too.
  7. I'm increasingly convinced that those bizarre feet on the Lion/Tiger are meant to be hooves. Weird.
  8. Ours is pretty decent until you get to whatever the hell is going on with the feet - especially the right foot.
  9. Agonisingly close to salvaging a point right at the end there, but that would have been harsh on Saints as despite the promising opening, we'd been 2nd best from about 20 mins onwards. No arguments about the red card. Mulgrew pulled off a few perfectly timed last gasp tackles last season but it's been shown numerous times this season that time's catching up with him and today was another costly example of it. That's Saints realistically out of danger now while that County win is a nightmare for ourselves and Killie.
  10. It's because you're not a proper football man, like James Corden.
  11. The big danger ahead for Arsenal is that after failing to take advantage of an undeniably golden opportunity to win the league this season, how long will they be able to keep their brightest talents? Saka, Ødegaard, Martinelli and Saliba have all come on leaps and bounds this season, but they're all at a good age for big sides in Europe to invest in. How long do they stay at Arsenal if City continue to dominate, as looks ominously likely? Barcelona then City and their new wealth had a big hand in dismantling Wenger's late 2000s/early 2010s side. Now there's the looming shadow of Newcastle who are already challenging for the Champion's League spots, and haven't even begun to seriously flex their financial muscle yet.
  12. If he hasn't learnt his lesson to shut up after claiming they were going to beat Real Madrid 3-0 before the 1st leg of their recent Champion's League tie, then he never will.
  13. It feels like the Arsenal squad were collectively hypnotised at the start of this season to believe they weren't a team of bottle merchants, and somebody has snapped their fingers and woken them up a few weeks too early.
  14. Arsenal are lucky it's only 2-0 here. The longer this game goes on the more laughable even the idea of a title race between these two seems. City have outclassed them and there's realistically no way back here for Arsenal unless City relax to a ludicrous degree. Even if City go on to drop a few points between now and the end of the season it's hard to see Arsenal being in a position to capitalise on it; they look knackered.
  15. The way this thread was going it was an absolute certainty he was going to get mentioned sooner rather than later.
  16. Two weeks ago we were looking at County beating St. Johnstone and going 5 points clear; resigning ourselves to being doomed. Now we're out the relegation spots and closer to 9th than 12th, we've got a 3rd win on the bounce and a clean sheet against a team who have often had our number in the past few years. The job's far from done but at least we're going into the split with some momentum. What a fucking difference Goodwin has made.
  17. Finally a little breathing space. Excellent work to keep fighting by Fotheringham then a class finish from Fletcher considering he'd just had treatment.
  18. Christ, even the clowns doing the DUTV commentary have managed to mention it in our game. Predictably pathetic stuff from BBC Scotland.
  19. Great finish from McGrath. Tidy work from Harkes in the build up too.
  20. Wasn't it the linesman who claimed that he'd been strangled, only for the footage to show that Nadz had just poked him in the throat? I do enjoy that our support refuses to let that particular grudge against Clancy rest. It's widely accepted that he hates us, and even the fact he was subsequently the referee in both the 6-2 wins over Dundee does little to convince people otherwise.
