Smith’s been rotten for us but I fully expect him to leave us in the summer, join another Championship team then go onto have a good season. The first half of us last season he was shunted out wide then in the second half of us last he played in the 10 role a lot more but still offered nothing as his confidence had gone.

We gave ICT the pumping we deserved to give Ayr on saturday. We never had to leave first gear at all. ICT reminded me of us away a couple months ago, a team devoid of confidence bending over for a doing.

Not sure why Docherty was missing on saturday but with Bannigan suspended for the QP I wouldn’t want us playing Docherty unless he’s 100% fit.

Fully expect Akinola to be away and another CB coming in. It’s a shame how it’s panned out with Tunji. He was excellent when he first joined and I was very pleasantly surprised when he signed a new deal but since he was bizarrely sent off vs Airdrie he looks a different player and lacks confidence. I’m sure we would all love it if we shifted Smith. I’d be okay with both Rangers loanees and Mullen leaving too.

Only got there for the second half but didn’t think we were great and 3-0 flattered us. Thankfully Arbroath were absolutely dreadful.
