Should be a decent CB at League 1 level. McCall insisted on playing him out of position at RB which he’s not very good at. We also had no one playing at RM which left him hang out to dry.
Thought Fitzpatrick looked good and showed flashes. He did look like he’s enjoyed his time off though. I’d take him back.
Kyle Doherty didn’t see much of the ball. He’s probably worth another look.
All the youngsters did well. Lyon has impressed me every time I’ve seen him. He’s so comfortable on the ball and takes it well on the turn. Thought McKenzie was excellent in the second half too.
Would agree with this. I also thought he was pretty poor in League 1 but was actually better in the Championship. He played very little last season and doubt he started more than 5 league games. Seemed to be near enough frozen out towards the end of the season and never got off the bench.
Ekin-Su ruffling feathers, Gemma in particular, is good. Gemma seems a complete cow which is no surprise considering who her mystery football loving father is. Luca looks like he may provide some good entertainment by trying to bag 3 girls at once.
I think Turner is this player. Hopefully we don’t spend next season wasting him outwide again. If we’re playing a 4-3-3 he should be a starter in midfielder.
Didn’t think he was particularly good when he was here last but he has more experience now and has played a decent number of games for a steady Premiership team. Should be a good signing.
Pretty dull group since we played Killie 4 times last season and seem to get Stenny every year. Killie win the group. We should be looking at taking 9 pooints and qualifying.
The same post says we’ve also signed Dylan Easton and Lawless have signed and we’re also speaking to Steve David, Christie Elliott and Jordan Rhodes. Would take it with a pinch of salt
We got promoted with Muirhead the last time he was here.
Muirhead would be a pretty underwhelming signing but he is a fairly solid defender at this level. Would presume if we play a back 4 that Brownlie and Holt would be the first choice CB pairing. I think we may play a 3-5-2 which would make sense since we would have about a million CBs and CMs.
Hopefully we don’t plan to use Muirhead as a RB. Watching McKenna uncomfortably playing out there and being hung out to dry was painful.
