  1. Its Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack 3 games on the box tonight to get us started - Flyers - Bruins, Leafs - Habs and Pens and Canucks. Now I got about 11 hours to get my fantasy team in order for tonight
  2. Adam Mcquaid & the Stanley cup just outside Simplyton's front door yesterday
  3. Missed the Man v Arsenal game on TV to go and see Adam Mcquaid and the Stanley Cup yesterday afternoon
  4. This video http://youtu.be/V8KrTkxUyic Not 100% sure exactly why she is doing what she is doing though
  5. Piranha 3D 6/10 On TV last night and watched with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. No storyline whatsoever but plenty of hot naked flesh and some gore made it watchable
  6. Snow day here on the Island - Schools, Govt etc. all closed Im in work
  7. Feck the music - What about the Cheese Toasty vending machine - how was that?
  8. Lost 9-0 at 7's last night albeit against the best team in the league Gone are the days of tremendous teamwork and effort to be replaced by stroppy individuals and lack of effort. After sitting pretty in 2nd just after the halfway point in the season we are now on a 3 game losing run and it doesn't look like ending.
  9. I did actually mean to post a line review of film as something along the lines of "Decent enough if you like films about creating websites" I couldn't quite make up my mind what angle it was coming from as it showed Zuckerburg to be a pr1ck but then almost trying to make you feel sorry for the $25billion pr1ck. Cant believe it got a theatrical release (well I can but it shouldn't have) as it really rates alongside the likes of pirates of silicon valley as straight to TV movies with a niche market of geeks and fanboys. I guess I was a little generous giving it 6/10 but it sucked less than a lot of the other shite i've been watching recently Social Network 4/10 Scott Pilgrim 4/10 Mrs watched about 20mins of this and gave up - I watched till the end but found it just a little bit tedious - Once you had seen one ex you had seen them all. Some funny quirky moments in it and Mary Elizabeth Winstead is always watchable but film was just lacking something.
  10. Watched a few things recently Grown-Ups 2/10 Pish, let get some mates together have a nostalgic weekend. Even better lets film it and pass it off as a movie. Salt 7/10 Pretty decent - Not a big Jolie fan but thought this was pretty good in a Bourne without Balls kinda way I am Legend 7/10 For some reason I really like this film - The CGI monsters are pathetic and after a good solid build up there isn't really much to it but still enjoy it.
  11. Wife (& Simplytot) have been carving pumpkins for years - she tends to make pumpkin pie or some sort of loaf that taste awesome with the innards Initially she used some of the templates online - One year she did a Dora pumpkin and another Elmo. They are pretty easy to use just print out, tape to outside of the hollowed out pumpkin then pierce through the design with some sort of skewer - cut out the excess pieces and there you go. 1st link I found on google for templates - http://www.dltk-holidays.com/halloween/mpatterns.htm They can get pretty complex but look awesome when done. Apparently if you are hollowing out the pumpkin its easier to sit it on the floor with a poly bag around it. edited for pic
  12. Watched about 20mins total of the Leafs opener as well as a bit and pieces of the European games - hoping to catch the majority of Habs @ Pens and Canucks opener v Kings. Highlight so far has been Jordan Eberle's debut goal v Calgary on Thursday Boy was immense in the world juniors and looks like carrying that on to the NHL
  13. Im moist with anticipation for tonights game With all the football, NFL & Ryder cup on recently it had kinda sneaked up but all the preview shows, fantasy shows etc. has got me up for this one. Hopefully catch the game from Helsinki in work today but the the habs in TO should be a nce quiet way to start the season.
  14. Get him to the Greek - 6/10 average Judd Apatow movie thats lifted a little by Russell Brand antics He plays the same character, Aldous Snow that he appeared as briefly in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
  15. Hot Tub Time Machine - 4/10 Didn't suck as much as I expected it to but still left rather disappointed as the potential was there for a good time travel movie
  16. Were to the drive-inn double bill Saturday night Switch - 2/10 Usually I can handle these type of chick flicks but this was just a p1sh storyline with sh1t characters - wasn't was funny, wasn't cheezy even the Mrs wasn't too impressed The Expendables 7/10 Thats more like it - a lot of mindless violence and gore to make up for the Jennifer Anniston eye gouging Pretty much does what it says on the tin Knight & Day 7/10 I really enjoyed this nothing to complex about the storyline - kinda like M:I meet Charlie Angels
  17. Fanboys - 5/10 Some funny bits and cool cameos lift a fairly dull road trip movie worth checking out if you are a Star Wars fan though
  18. Despicable Me - 6/10 Decent enough movie with quite a few really funny bits without a great storyline backing it up Simplytot who sat enthralled by TS3 kinda lost interest after a while
  19. Whiteout - 5/10 The opening minutes of the film promised so much KB Shower Scene But what what followed was a fairly run of the mill, by the numbers clothed murder mystery movie.
  20. The Incredible Hulk - 5/10 No real expectations for this one and it was an ok action movie Liked the Tony Stark cameo at the end though - Excited about the upcoming Avengers,Thor & Captain America movies.
  21. Year One - 2/10 Just awful - No real desire to watch it but thought WTF Was hoping for some pineapple Express style stupidity but ended up more like 90mins of scary movie style fart and gay jokes
  22. That's the thing about Twitter if you dont want to read tweets from Art student types - Dont f*#$ing follow them then
