  1. Fan owned through The Well Society membership. Not nearly enough. There's also a lot of very wild takes on there. I dip my head in from time to time then remember why I don't go on much.
  2. Honestly I have no objections to anyone who wants to claim the matches back if income is a problem. A real pisser of a time for a lot of folk financially so who am I to judge? I'll renew as usual. I'd fucking love it if they'd let folk back in for the last game of this season.
  3. It's going to be some patter when Dec misses out on the squad after having that gun held to his head for the sake of a month. Edit to add: @capt_oats rn:
  4. Aye but to be fair to him he could just head round to yours for his tea every night so that's minimising some of his living costs.
  5. I'm not sure there was ever any actual interest from Celtic but with the complete bin fire they've had roaring away all season I don't blame him for swinging for the fences. Similarly when there were rumours they were interested in SOD. Overall I don't give a f**k really. I'm sure we can dig up some brute of a centre back from down south who wants to come up and spend a year kicking f**k out of folk.
  6. I keep laughing at it. Imagine being on national radio saying "I've got foreign children" like that's a perfectly normal thing for someone to say.
  7. Malky Mackay managed to insult every section of society possible and the SFA promoted him to the very top so I'm not ruling out Mo Ross failing upwards here.
  8. This is the main issue I have with the interview. For me there is absolutely no good reason he should be given a platform. I've said it in the Motherwell thread but I have to laugh at his statement saying he would be "taking some time to reflect". Some time clearly being a couple of hours before getting his rep to pull in a favour at the BBC. Off the back of this Sportsound had a couple of options. They could have had Marvin Bartley on the show discussing his experience of dealing with racism in football using this as further evidence to show that taking a knee or a social media boycott is pissing in the wind. But instead they give the man who has been sacked for being a racist an opportunity to say:
  9. Had a listen to a bit of it there and it's quite something. See if you've just been binned for being a racist, how about you just sit this one out. I particularly like this nugget from his statement: I reckon I spent more time deliberating what cereal to have this morning than Mo took to reflect on his actions.
  10. You're forgetting Nick Blackman who was scoring for fun in ML1 before losing all of his ability halfway up the A90.
  11. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56982709?fbclid=IwAR06AsCHgA2XLhqNtuh_hvzskJmXxiMApwlTfZdAvlHYVScC_kx-YhJTTqM
  12. Aye. This. Watt's put a shift in for the whole season but I absolutely would give mention to Liam Kelly saving our season and Cole showing that playing players in their natural position is a hell of a concept.
  13. See if we were in the situation of losing Gallagher for nothing at the end of his first season, I'd be gutted. However after his general form, fucking about with guns to his head and his complete bin fire of a captaincy this season I don't give a f**k. That gif supplied by @capt_oats of him going full Shane Duffy sums up his season. He played a couple of games for Scotland and seemed to decide he was absolutely prime Cannavaro at the back. Off you pop, Declan.
  14. To get completely binned after such a short space of time must mean it's pretty grim. Cannae imagine there would have been this uproar if he'd just told someone to f**k off.
  15. I have no qualms with the idea. If they were to leave it open ended showing that corruption is so engrained in the police that it's an impossible task to shut down then that's fine. After 5 seasons of The Wire and trying to shut down the drug dealing they show that it's a societal issue that can't just be solved by simply arresting a few folk. And that was fine and a satisfying ending. They had probably painted themselves into a corner for whoever H/The 4th Man was going to turn out to be. After 3 series to build up to it there was a lot of pressure. Last night's episode had so much to cover and wasted a lot of time. Fairbanks getting interviewed was a total waste of time. He doesn't know whether it's New Year or New York so it was pointless. I genuinely thought after Buckells interview we should have about another 45 minutes to go but that was that. And the hilariously shite CGI lift as the final scene . Just fucking show them walking out the front door ffs.
  16. As far as coaching attributes big Decanter is a much more exciting prospect than others. Once Alexander declared him as a centre forward and only a centre forward he's looked much more like it. I'd definitely feel happy if we had him nailed on as a starting striker going into next season. As much as I thought the scorched earth policy would be patter I can see us keeping a fair amount of folk around. Kelly is the obvious one but that's more dependent on QPR than us I think. Foley looked good yesterday but I suppose it's dependent on fitness and wages as to whether he stays. I suppose it'll mainly be getting rid of the bad eggs in the squad and hopefully seeing more of what Alexander wants us to be like.
  17. For me it's a tale as old as time.* *If time means since someone declared this as the best St Mirren team in 30 years up against this complete gang of a Motherwell team.
