  1. The nominated ground is what the LL do just now. Unfortunately, it's the SFA that are making it mandatory for licensing.
  2. Oh I agree the whole thing is farcical. In terms of existing members I think they were roughly told a deadline when the 2019 changes were emailed round. There was the whole fuss of existing members getting the deadline and new applications have to meet 2019 rules. But officially I don't think anyone has a derogation for floodlights yet, because they haven't been audited under 2019 rules.
  3. It has been pointed out to me that while they had their last review in December, it doesn't mean that's when they were audited etc. One of the reasons December audits were carried out under 2019 rules was because they were reviewed by the LC in February.
  4. North Super League winner still gets Scottish Cup entry like the other Regions top leagues.
  5. The North remembers! but everyone forgets about them
  6. While on North Region related matters, Inverness City have publicly announced they are folding after their year in abeyance.
  7. In fairness that was something that people tried to say last year. There seems to be quite a bit of misunderstanding on the matter. Definitely doesn't excuse it from someone repping a club though. You would hope they would know better.
  8. If you don't hold an SFA Licence you are ineligible from participating in the EoS/SoS Lowland League Play-off. This is what has prevented the likes of LTHV and Leith Athletic from gaining promotion. Reserve sides technically don't have an SFA Licence. Unless someone was to try to argue that the parent club(?) counts for that issue. Even if someone was to make that argument and be successful, in the Lowland League constitution you cannot have more than one team participate in leagues covered by the Professional Game Board (SPFL, HFL and LL).
  9. On the North Juniors bit, there was a meeting back in November between the HFL and North Region. And it went as everyone probably would of guessed it would have: https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/highland-league/1744053/we-cant-offer-spots-in-the-highland-league-says-secretary-rod-houston/
  10. St Andrews United have made their public statement on the matter https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=865627453773183&id=217764468559488
  11. Losing a licence doesn't mean losing your SFA membership. They would still get Scottish Cup entry they'd just not receive any of the prize money.
  12. SPFL = 42 Non-SPFL =was 48 at the last AGM with Selkirk. Now 53 with the 6 new additions minus Selkirk. There's meant to be another 12 applicants with in the pyramid and 2 from the Juniors. The 12 in the pyramid include the likes of Bonnyrigg who were rejected but that's not going to stop them getting there eventually.
  13. And that was true before the most recent additions.
  14. Burnie cleared up what I was meaning. I should of put the greater emphasis of Cumnock being in the same spot as Dunipace. Waiting to hear if they can begin the licensing process. Although I do wonder if the Junior applications will be accepted considering the "trial" period the juniors may or may not be in right now.
  15. Dunipace are apparently in the same sort of spot that Cumnock are probably in. They have to get their application & £2k fee accepted by the SFA board first before the licensing process begins. Last thing I saw on the Dunipace front is silence from the SFA.
  16. It's a dead thread dug up by the Talbot troll a couple of months around all the pyramid threads. It was also originally related to junior clubs. Asking if Cumnock or the West club got the okay to begin the licensing process, discussing how all these EoS clubs getting licensed impacts the juniors seems on topic. Asking what's happening with a bunch of EoS clubs just seems redundant when the EoS has its own thread on the matter. All it does in the juniors is bring up the same old nonsense.
  17. It is the wrong forum in that there's no relation to junior clubs and the EoS forum has a topic on licensing.
  18. Dunno how it works exactly. Of the new applicants I think some of them were audited in December. Passed licensing committee in February and got their license in May. So when would they next be due an audit?
  19. Thought of something else. I wonder when Civil Service Strollers and Vale of Leithen were audited. There last audit took place in December 2018 but would that have been before or after the licensing change? As it doesn't seem fair to turn up to CSS and Bonnyrigg on the same day and say you're audited by the 2018 criteria and your audited by the 2019 criteria.
  20. By the way, has it ever been confirmed when these applications were decided upon by the SFA Board? The idea has always been that there had to be a SFA Board meeting for them to sign off on the applications. Which I believe would of meant they walked into the EoS meeting knowing clubs were not getting their licenses and fobbed off clubs when the issue arose. Or They hastily arranged something yesterday, which means they could of done the same thing at any point in the last 3 months
  21. Edusport are hoping to be based out of a part of Strathclyde Park starting next season. Although they will shed their identity and rebrand as something else. I've managed to forget most of the names they've had to vote on. Only ones I can remember off the top of my head are FC Venom and Edusport Pheonix (yes pheonix was spelt that way in the promotional video).
  22. Being existing members and audited in the 2nd half of 2018, you wouldn't actually have been in Bonnyrigg's position. Without floodlights you'd still be a fully licenced SFA member meeting the Lowland League and LL Play-off requirements.
  23. Someone withhin ITV still has it on their docket, as they're still doing international rights deals on the same 10 episodes they did last year. AEW supposedly has an August show in London. Maybe there's some joint venture where AEW has their big show, but some of the talent flown in gets used for a second set of tapings of WOS Wrestling.
  24. Not necessarily. There was that moment when WOS was going to be run by Global Force Wrestling aka the failed TNA/Impact rebrand. AEW also has links with other promotions. So WOS could be ITV1 taped family friendly fodder with AEW supporting the infrastructure and AEW tucked away on ITV4 for the adults. Gives the likes of Kip Sabian something to do as AEW probably won't have house shows anytime soon.
  25. The 70k thing seems strange to me, what with Linlithgow Rose already licensed and with floodlights. Are you trying to say you're still paying off borrowing that money? Otherwise how would you be disadvantaged financially this season on the field?
