Chick Young: I do not think anyone understand that Rangers voted - a very long time ago - not to split gate receipts or television revenue evenly. If the worst happens, the clubs would not lose half of their revenue, assuming their crowds did not drop. They would lose a small fraction, namely a larger than average crowd when Rangers come to town (even those games have ceased to become sell-out at Easter Road). ESPN may pay less for Scottish games without Rangers, maybe the won't, I doubt Chick has ever been involved in negotiations of this nature. People who might lose out are those that spent an entire career brown nosing a board of directors and management staff that turned out to be crooks.

Paquis, Bill Miller is the last man standing and is relying on assurances that have already been given - that Rangers will be playing in the SPL next season. How can the SPL board credibly claim that they are going to determine a punishment for liquidation after these assurances have already been given? They are basically waiting to buy-off the diddies who want a change to the voting structure.

The only reason everyone is pissed off with Rangers is that all this melodramatic bullshit is only happening because Rangers have exploited secterianism and West of Scotland religious tribalism for their own financial gain. The fact of the matter is Rangers are not just another club. Even the whole "we don't do walking away" is laced with religious connotations. No other support with similar financial problems ever claimed "we supported Irish protestants in a civil war so we know all about saving a club from administration". The SFA's stadium regulations had a far more detrimental impact on clubs than a transfer ban causes. I cannot remember death threats being made or Traynor and Chick Young calling for SFA officials to be named when that happened.

Correct me if I am wrong people; Craig Whyte got forms of collateral when he 'lent' Rangers money, Hearts did not. He is a secured creditor. HMRC do not (this is based on a legal ruling some time ago). Accountants get paid a shit load of cash for a reason. The guys Whyte have brought in will be pretty much international-standard shits and have earned that reputation by helping rich people avoid tax bills.

No, there is no guarantee any will be paid. Basically, the administrator should be brought in to look out after the interests of the creditors. They are all unsecured creditors, secured creditors get priority. That is basically Whyte. The HMRC wanted to appoint an independent administrator, but instead got a couple of Whyte's dodgy mates. So, it is likely they will be acting in the interests of Whyte rather than HMRC or any other Scottish club, who will be completely ignored. What Whyte is doing is a bloody disgrace and the Scottish clubs should refuse to play at Ibrox. I have a feeling we will all hate Rangers a lot more after this. This is when you see how fucking dirty the fuckers really are, and how the SPL bend over.

Rangers have got away with murder for years. If you think Rangers will not come out of this relatively unscathed, you're having a laugh. I hope they get stung. Expect the worst, and be pleasantly surprised if it goes tits up. My advice, enjoy this while it lasts. Mr Tee, the Rangers support think this is all a nice little adventure, and youse will be back to signing multimillion pound players with a more efficient set up. The Rangers support will never understand the prospect of their club going out of business. Even now they are thinking about what players they will be signing in the future. No-one hopes Rangers will die, what we hope is that your administration is as difficult as possible. Quite frankly, in between decades of tax dodging, bigotry and an arrogance unparrallelled in world football a lot of people have a belief that you deserve the predicament you are in. Swallow your long overdue humble pie and maybe you will get some sympathy.
