Opted for Charnock Richard 1-1 Longridge Town this afternoon. The visitors equalising in the 2nd half to force a replay this midweek.

Brilliant performance from Liverpool really enjoyed that tonight. That third goal from Salah was superb. Arsenal could hardly get out of their own half but they really should have taken the lead through Pepe. Their attempts find space passing out from the back by hugging the lines were certainly a bit different but didn’t work. Then again no one can come up with what would have. Many stand out performances but Firmino was just unplayable at times. So 3 wins out of 3 and the only team still with a 100% record. Roll on Burnley next Saturday .

Liverpool Football Club today reaffirms its intention to redevelop the Anfield Road stand with ambitious new plans now under active consideration. As part of this process, the six-time European champions have committed to engaging with the local community and other key stakeholders while pursuing a vision in keeping with the club’s aspirations. As a direct result of this development, existing outline planning permission will be allowed to lapse in order to allow work to continue on alternative options with a view to submitting a new planning application for a larger scheme in due course. Liverpool FC chief operating officer Andy Hughes said: “The progress that has been made during ongoing feasibility studies has resulted in us being in a position to allow the outline planning permission to lapse. We are committed to working with local residents, planning officials and others as we now focus on the detail behind any proposed redevelopment for Anfield Road. “Throughout this process we have been clear that our objective is to find the best possible solution for Anfield Road and that remains the case."

Funnily enough you must have missed my post from the game I commented that I counted 7 Southampton fans ejected during the game. Total heads gone stuff the Champions or Europe songs seemed to be a bit too much. The fathers behaviour was awful to see. Hopefully if someone from the Liverpool end threw a gas canister they are found and dealt with appropriately and the young boy involved is ok.

Obsessed Sky Sports subscriber from Arbroath strikes again. Funnily enough you’ve still not commented beyond the 1st leg on Barcelona . This happened up behind us. If someone threw something then that’s totally out of order and I hope they catch him. The behaviour of the Dad of the kid in question was terrible though fronting up the away fans all the way down the steps certainly didn’t help the wee fella.
