  1. I hate pigeon. Too gamey. It's illegal to kill seagulls but, I dunno, I guess they'd taste alright depending on what they've been eating. If they're coastal and eating fish they probably taste alright. If it's a big Weegie fucker surviving on a diet of Blue Lagoon cast offs I'd steer clear.
  2. I'll probably just stick to, like, mushrooms and tofu. Unless there's a BBQ on obviously. Then it's back on the seagull
  3. Regardless of pub choices I'm looking forward to the game. I always sorta presumed the North Caley was a real drop in quality compared to (most) of the Highland League but you can say the same for Fort William compared to the Highland League. Even then I doubt teams like Invergordon or Golspie would have been such a joke if they were a tier up. It's the only two teams who can get promoted (and there's no guarantee a licensed club will win the Midlands/North Region as well) so both will be looking to win the league and set a marker down early doors. It's a short season so a win either way could be huge. No idea of the quality of either side compared to last season.
  4. I won't. Cannae even stomach the idea of eating a langoustine.
  5. Every other country has had at least one team to burst out from the pack and surprise the big teams in that time: Twente, Montpellier, Connah's Quay, Rijeka, Wolfburg, Deportivo la Coruna, Midtylljand, Grazer AK, Unirea Urziceni, Gliwice, Gent, Bodo/Glimt, Viktoria Plzen, Leicester, Mariehamm, PAOK, Lazio, Boavista, Istanbul.... This long with only the three winners is unheard of anywhere else
  6. Nah. That's ma da'. Sorry. I've told him to stop but you need to stop encouraging him.
  7. Because since you were relegated from the 1st division in 2009 you haven't finished higher than the place above the relegation spots in the third tier.
  8. I've only nipped in for scran in FW and it was all a bit wanky. I presumed the pubs would be the same.
  9. He never dictated anything. He gave his opinion. You seem very hung up on having the right to ask people what their genitalia is. WFTfuckingW
  10. Your obsession with eating insects is fucking weird by the way
  11. Coming down from that gave me tendonitis. Worth it. Banging views at the top.
  12. There was a wee group of about a dozen weans I've noticed afore at men's away games with a drum trying a few chants out as well. Morton Women's Ultras. Ye love to see it. Pie stall wisnae open this week tho' so bring yer pieces just in case as there's nothing nearby for scran. Although there's a bowling club nearby which I presume will let ye in for a pint if wanted.
  13. The worst part is the idea that, suddenly, you can't do this stuff but you could before. Sadowitz has had been "cancelled" umpteen times since the 80s. Nothing against the folk making complaints BTW, they're right to do so if they want to, it's The Pleasance who ballsed up by booking him to play. They musta known what he was like.
  14. Me and ma pal had planned to get the train up for the game, enjoy the views with a few tins, check the game, and train back to Glesga on the same day but the b*****ds are on strike and now we're getting the bus. The good news this leaves us with a bit more time for a few pints there. Apart from all those wanky places on the high street catering to Cynthia and Torquil up for a stay in an AirBnB where's good for a few pints in the Fort? Claggan Park got a club house? If it does will they have remembered to order in some beer?
  15. Whereas the SWPL 1 & 2 are now under the auspices of the SPFL the rest of the pyramid remains part of the SWFA. Morton beat Ayr 4-1 in a result that was probably a bit harsh on the balance of play over the game but Morton did take the foot off the gas after going 4-0 up. Been a while since I've seen any Morton team top of the league so I'm enjoying it today. Twitter said the crowd was a decent 120. Morton's third and fourth by Paterson were cracking and worth a watch when the highlights go up. One was a lovely lob from the edge of the box and the other was like Zlatan's goal v NAC Breda for Ajax but better.
  16. Went to see Largs v Rob Roy yesterday. Rob Roy the slightly better side in a fairly tight first half. Largs came out fighting in the 2nd half and were looking the better team until Kirky scored their 2nd then it was all one way traffic after that. Rob Roy's centre backs strolled it.
