  1. Ditto so much so I attended his service at East End Park Another fooker was John Watson
  2. According to the Daily Hail a few days ago there was a 40k tax bill and Jeffries and the backroom had not been paid Dont shoot the messenger
  3. Agree with you mate and I am a season ticket holder.Should have been one ticket per season ticket holder
  4. Unfortunately not the following week but the week after feb 12/13th so would expect Lennon to unleish his best.
  5. You were done then as parent/child prices at Starks are £20 and that applies to all Stands..Problem at Starks is they dont have a turnstile marked specifically for Parent/Child to my knowledge but thats no excuse as the turnstile operator should know the script.
  6. May well affect the crowd but hey ho we`ll still coin in a few pennies Last Celtic game it was around 8,500 and 9,700 against the now defunct Rangers.I take crowds given out by tannoy announcers and clubs with a pinch of salt anyway.I recall us playing Hearts at San Starko late 90`s and you could almost count the empty seats on one hand yet the crowd was giving as thousands below capacity.A far more truer figure of attendances can be gleened from the Polis.
  7. This and a greenie One of the points for raising money through the share issue sums it up "We also want it to support Jim Jefferies and his team in their drive to progress to the SPL Getting to the SPL should be the furthest thing from there mind.By all means raise money through a share issue or whatever, pay off outstanding/important debts, get your finances/budget under control,re build slowly
  8. Because we ain`t played Celtic or Rangers in years who contrary to belief attract big crowds.I see and probably many others do see Celtic at home in the last 16 of the SC an attractive draw Introducing a voucher scheme say over two games gives the opportunity for Rovers supporters to get their hands on a ticket before the away supporters as opposed to a potential open sale where many tickets for the home end could and would be be snapped up by Celtic supporters In our situ a hundred added to any gate would be a bonus. Our last sell out games funnily enough were against Celtic/Rangers.Calderon also mentioned the Aberdeen cup game where the crowd was given at 7,050 although there appeared to be very few if any apare seats in the home end
  9. Dont see why the voucher scheme is a non starter Season ticket holders get first lick at tickets then Supporters Club and other organised groups, then voucher holders, then public sale
  10. All these unanswered questions point to the debt being more than what they`re letting on.Much the same along at Starks
  11. Thats an interesting one Munich.Surely SKY and BBC only need to announce this week the dates they intend showing any live cup matches and not which particular game they intend to televise.Thats an irrelevance
  12. They`d be buying shares in a company which is a holding company for the company which claims to own 'the club'.
  13. A fair bit of clutching at straws in that statement Citing the Falkirk and Rovers games. There is no guarantee of these going ahead and very much dependant on the weather.I know Dunfermline have undersoil heating but can they afford to run that?Even then polis would put games off because surrounding areas were unsafe. If results dont go in Rovers favour up to the Dunfermline game you could be looking at a sub 1500 away support
  14. Will any HMRC appeal put the SPL/SFA enquiry into dual contracts on hold?
  15. He already does in way of reduced rental Oh I agree but it was for the purpose of hospitality not the ordinary punter.Cant remember the exact wording or the technical detail for it but the money he had to invest could not be given directly to the club in cash it had to go into the stadium. The proposal was to make the Railway Stand watertight, new guttering, upgrade toilets, running water etc and install portacabin type structures for hospitality. This was to be funded by John Sim/Starks Park properties Ltd.Like everything else, you hear of proposals then here f**k all when they dont come to fruition. As above
  16. I think thats the case roverthemoon regards the Railway Stand, althougth the roof was supposed to have been water tight.John Sim was supposed to be revamping the Railway Stand at no cost to the club but its come to nothing.
  17. Greenie Dunfermline like other clubs continue to rely on pulling supporters heart strings in the hope of bailing them .Its got to come to and end and its time directors took responsibilty for their financial mismanagement. If its some future member of the board is feeding someone the info(doesnt auger well) to put out to supporters that its 200k to clear the debt I`d hazard a guess its more than that
  18. Yep,you could well be right with that figure Not paying VAT? There should be no cost for catering as thats solely run by one of the directors. As you say though, still a decent wedge to be made According to Fife Police website capacity is 8495 give or take a few burst seats and potential no seating in the first few rows.As you said still a decent wedge to be made Not sure on the prize money although it was posted on here a year or so ago.Almost certain the prize money for the league cup round per round was more.
  19. Understand where your coming from You would like to think so.Couldn`t have budgeted for a potentail cup tie against Celtic but could they have budgeted for getting throught to this round?Surely not Not exactly sure how much it is for TV game,60k-80K? Our ground only holds just under 8,500 and if Fifes Finest Constabulary implement the same stupid policy as they did for the Dunfermline with regards to the first rows of seats that knocks another 1000 off Take off all our fines for indiscipline As I said, our run through to the cup semis netted us under 300k including prize money, however by beating Celtic and reaching the semis this season would see us pocket 300k+ All hypothetical as Celtic ain`t through yet
  20. 300k? We didn`t even make that getting to the semi final
  21. It was In return for shares which were/are worth the square root of fook all.The stupid idea of life time season tickets has lost the club money althougth not a helluva lot and these season tickets will be passed down to family members losing potential money.
  22. Is it not a kinda robbing Peter to pay Paul scenario?
