  1. that could suggest the playing squad may well be a mix or totally part time and the extra duties fill in the rest of mcglynns time
  2. according to the rags last week the company/computer who actually fix.....a mean carry out the fixture draw requires the list of teams around the 7th june.
  3. that time for me is now and if it meant mcglynn not signing a new deal because of it so be it.
  4. with the poss of a couple of first division clubs reverting to part time or a mix of part time full time squads Queens are talking about staying full time in the second
  5. Yes if its actually primary school kids that are using them.I`d like to think there are more stringent checks at the turnstiles. On what I have witnessed at present and in the past turnstile operators make no check on season ticket users so unless the turnstile operators actually check whos using them i suspect these tickets will be open to abuse eg adult entering using a junior season ticket or adult but not SC using a senior citizens ticket Much like the lack of checks done at the office on those purchasing jobseekers tickets eg someone in full time employment using someone elses dole card to pick up cheap ticket
  6. he certainly did and has posted on this site .the said RR official is not the chairman
  7. as is there duty to make the business as attractive as possible for any potential buyer or investor not sell assets. selling assets makes it unattractive to investors which then leads to potentially liquidation and creditors getting nil . the more intersting thing regarding rangers is greir whos company advised whyte on the purchase of rangers and was with him walking throught the front door of ibrox the day after whyte took control is a director of D&P the now administrators
  8. i dont think owning our own ground had anything to do with us not going into administration at the point when we were in most trouble ,rangers own their own ground but are in administration and also , i also dont think the administrators would have sold off ours to pay any debt ,there duty is to make the business as attractive as possible for any potential buyer or investor not sell assets.
  9. shares in stark park properties ltd or shares in raith rovers football club ltd,or shares in raith rovers holding company,or shares in new raith rovers ltd.which one are you alluding to?
  10. no i chose it because you selectively quoted my post and omitted the fact that hutton plus two others were on the board and still are when smith and mcgowan were appointed which is one of the reason our club is in the state it is .as far as covering up a lie, nothing to cover up. hutton did not vote against the anelka debacle dont presume.soft loans are not repayable unless the the club receives exceptional income which is unlikely.shares on the other are of some value.
  11. actually your wrong and dont ignore the fact that he along with two others still on the board oversaw the involvement of smith and mcgowan and the reason they took shares in return for their soft loans are?
  12. directly or indirectly Hutton and Caira are part responsible for the state the club are in.they were board members when smith and mcgowan took over and the Anelka fiasco.as far as it being admirable that they have stepped in and paid wages and turned that money into shares instead of soft loans.you make it sound that they are doing someting wonderful. turning the soft loans into shares is more for their benefit. outwith money there is nothing to stop us upgrading the stadium. as far as rental goes, were paying roughly a third of the original rental fee
  13. fixed it for you but your recollection of the incident is indeed correct .
  14. confirmed now We have this afternoon extended the transfers of Jamie Walker and David Smith.
  15. this post from fantalk probably sums up why the club did not take the opportunity "the only way for this to be commercially viable is if Flyers fans who don't already go to Stark's Park start taking up the offer, and this outnumbers the number of people who currently do follow both. So, for example, if there are 100 current Raith/Flyers fans who would get half-price entry to Stark's Park in this type of deal, you would need to attract 100 Flyers fans who don't go to Stark's Park just to break even" saying that, the cut price admission for the game against hamilton last saturday only benifitted those that already go to starks park
  16. dont see why you`d be surprised . its a results driven business and quite frankly hes not producing .crowds are plummeting due to the pish being served up on a saturday. I am one who is not a stay away supporter , who has followed them for too many years that i care to remember who thinks his time is up i`m afraid .
  17. Agree to disagree then but will pick up on one point and thats the bit about TH or other directors not knowing the ins and outs of the commercial side in terms of figures .Sorry but the fact TH etc were banging on about almost everything financial regarding the club i would expect them to know the figures of the commercial side .Now the either know or were too embarrassed to say when questioned by JD .
  18. the past was bringing in more than it has so far this season correct me if i`m wrong but did you not say you could not attend the meeting? the existing commercial side for what its worth was ripped to shreds by JD .He quoted the figures whilst he was in charge with no denial from those on the board and virtually no come back of figures from the commercial dept section in place at the moment, maybe the reason O `Neil i think his name is from the commercial side chose not to attend . I do not think for one minute JD a rovers man through and through was smarting because he was let go by the club, what did come across was someone who was angry seeing the hard work he had put in and what he had built up going down the swanny and not been carried forward . whos questioning whether JD provided value for money? he would appear to have brought value for money in comparison to whats in existence at present where lottery sales are down,no lottery sponsor,no sponsored cars, poor hospitality sales and so on and so . correct me if i`m wrong but did you not say you could not attend the meeting?
  19. yep,a fairly transparent meeting outwith anything to do with the commercial side as there was no representative from the commercial side at the meeting .It was however, as has been said ripped to shreds by the previous commercial manager . Again as has already been said but Mr Sommerville was also another non attendee so no idea what progress he has made in his quest to bring in extra revenue . Theres a a lot of mud being thrown at the board and by god i`ve done it regarding investement or lack of,fund raising, marketing but in its defences its down to lack of bodies . not much to argue with there theres calls to reduce the admission price .The club do not get the full £17 as it is .With the deduction of VAT they only get something like £14 odds .Reducing admission prices in general would not make one jot of a difference, maybe over one or two games the crowds would rise but not significantly but not long term . Hats off to the supporters groups who raise money year in and year out but unforunately to sustain what the club have at the moment it requires much bigger investment . regarding the concordat, most of thats a given so why the need to have it down in black and white I dont know however i suppose we live in a world of rules and regulations . Heres one who hopes that regulation 7 is not adhered to if our club is teetering on the brink that and outside invester is willing to invest significant finances into our club one other thing. The fact HMRC moved the goalposts and were willing to appoint a liquidator for the sake of £45,000 (even after a debt repayment plan was in place)to a club that has no assets should be a warning to other .
  20. Have a greenie in fact have two . They have now that D Sommerville has taken on his voluntary role . If what I heard at the meeting last night was correct prior to that no . Interestingly our commercial guy was conspicuous in his absence from the meeting so really didnt get an answer when the commercial side was ripped to threads by a previous board member . some which he is making from the catering that he controls so in a roundabout way some of the money invested is coming from the fans who choose to purchase pies, bovrils and the like .
  21. Mistakes?? understatement . The biggest mistake was accepting those from the west on board which they were party to. If they had voted against it we would unlikely be in the position we are in today . One of the reasons we are in such a state , poor budgeting . As for them subsidising the difference when gates fell short , nothing in black and white and a club cannot and does not survive on gates alone . I daresay all will be revealed tonight if were lucky .
  22. A resounding no . They sat gleefully by whilst Smith and McGowan were invited on board which is why we are where we are today .
