  1. I suspect the majority of Motherwell fans did not seek the 6 points and would have had no issues if the case had been dealt with in a different way (although preferably quicker). The subtle difference is that having been awarded the points, to see them removed at a later date is not without impact. Fairness isn’t being discussed.
  2. I could suggest names for the line up that would do just that.
  3. Punishments doubled I think, 6-0. Victories across the board.
  4. Not unfairly, we are now where we should always have been, but we have been messed around along the way. We have been given something we didn’t ask for then some weeks later it has been taken away, and we are unclear on what will happen next. We have been dragged into an issue between other clubs and the SPFL.
  5. My point is that the points should never have been awarded. Whether people were happy or sad at the award is a different point.
  6. The push for Europe has taken a blow, we need to get back on track, it has to be a 3-0 victory.
  7. How have they been messed around? They knew the situation, I doubt they've played any differently because of some points being on the table. Of course they have been messed about, they have been dropped league places and points just hours before a game. They are where they should have been before the league teased them and toyed with them.
  8. The points should never have been allocated before all appeals were exhausted, takes us back to a sensible position, but Motherwell and Hamilton have been messed around due to no fault of their own.
  9. You are not wrong but there are percentages too so it looks complex.
  10. What is annoying is that at different times we have shown we can compete with Hibs and Aberdeen, we should be in that grouping. But we are not.
  11. If only we could play Aberdeen every week. 4 points every two games, no goals conceded, we would be ok.
  12. Which was best, the one that went too far, or the one that fell short?
  13. I am constantly amazed at how professional footballers cannot shoot. A massive percentage of shots fly over the bar, the goal has never been up there. Many players cannot get any power behind their shot, and many more aim at the keeper. The goal is 8 yards wide, stick the ball in the corner.
  14. The stats don’t look particularly good for either team. Was it Polworth’s shot near the end or O’Hara’s first half free kick that counts as our shot on target, or something else?
  15. Did Hayes not used to be a winger? I was expecting to be attacked down the flanks
  16. Aberdeen didn’t go baws oot for the win in the second half, I suspect Derek was happy with a draw.
  17. On balance I would win the argument between those two points
  18. Because drinking in front of Coronation Street gets frowned on, whereas the football? Justified
  19. We are winning on aggregate across our two games, I’ve decided that means something
  20. We had the only chance in the match and Polworth dollied it into the corner and blocked, wrap it back the way it came man. Main hit the bar but it was never going in.
  21. The Aberdeen boys all seemed to be stronger than us, have we closed the gym?
