  1. 50mph winds forecast for around kickoff.
  2. He's missed a couple of sitters. He's powerful and quick, with decent movement, but his finishing lets him down. He'd probably average 10 goals in league 1 if played central. Bartley had him playing on the wing. I'd give him pass marks compared to some of the shite i've seen this season.
  3. If i recall correctly we have a respectable record at Recreation Park? I'll feel much more confident going into the match if Bartley has left the building by then. I'm not holding out any hope though.
  4. In other words, you fancy him and have given him more credit than he deserves. Even now you can't be objective. He has no oratory skills whatsoever nor have i seen evidence of this supposed intelligence he has over our previous managers. If you actually listen to his interviews, he drones on in a monotone until he gets bored or the interview runs out of time. At the beginning of the season, when his message was positive, i didn't hear any conviction or passion in his voice. It was as if he was reading the ingredients on a pack of biscuits. George Galloway is an example of a talented orator. He could read a list of ingredients and make it sound like poetry. I know i'd switch off if i had to listen to Bartley droning on in training everyday.
  5. What do Queens have to attract a non-local investor? If there is no emotional attachment i can't see what the attraction would be, given the level of investment the stadium requires. Possible feeder team for a team down south? If so i think there are more attractive/less expensive options.
  6. He only cares about himself and no he has no shame.
  7. He's holding out for the Ireland job. If he doesn't get, i wouldn't be surprised to see him at Aberdeen next season. Gary Bowyer would have been a decent interim appointment.
  8. Allan Johnston has just thrown his phone in the river. What will Billy do now?
  9. A change would be best for both parties. If Martindale takes you down - and he doesn't get it right in the championship - he might never work again as manager. He has clearly peaked at your club. If he leaves now he avoids having a relegation on his CV. Last night's improvement could prove to be another false dawn like the performance against Hearts. It could potentially get embarrassing if you don't hit form soon. It would be best to give a young manager like Dougie Imrie a free hit at the remainder of the season. Just my tuppenceworth with no axe to grind.
  10. He's been in the job for a year. Can we afford to the get rid of the dud now?
  11. It's only a matter of time before we field an ineligible player given how the club is being run. @Skyline Drifter
