She is a columnist in The S*n in England and has worked with the BBC so will be guaranteed an obit from both of them. Pretty confident she is not famous merely for being ill.
Fair one, I know she's a columnist/podcaster etc NOW, I didn't want to risk her as a 'famous for dying' pick. Good luck with her mate.

I thought I was being a smartarse picking Deborah James but it turns out I'm not the only one who reads The S*n in England, fairly confident the oldest guy in the HoL will be a solo shot if he snuffs it though. Some people appear to do a terrifying amount of research tbh.
I looked into 'Bowelbabe' but thought she was only famous for the cancer, was she not a teacher until the big C and she started blogging about it ???
Hope I'm wrong for your sake, I've no wish to pish on anyone's chips.

Thanks for running with it Miguel and cheers for looking for the Julie Strain obit, I've been periodically doing it through the year. Still a little shocked the Daily Mail didn't report it, she seems right up their boulevard. Hey ho, onto '22 then.....

A tragic loss to broadcasting, still he died for a good cause, that's why I awarded him my VC.

Heading out for a wee 'man and fire' night so team sent in.... a blend of last year's with one survivor dropped, spliced with some new hopefuls. As ever, it seems like 15 dead certs but history suggests otherwise. Good luck everyone and it will be interesting to see the 'stats' when Miguel produces them and we all rage about missing someone.
Oh, and happy new year when it comes.

I'm in.
Dead Pool research is the perfect way to fill those few days between Christmas and New Year.
And alcohol of course.
I hear ya bro. Already made a substitution this morning, I console myself that I'll not shed a tear when my 'dropee' inevitably does die this year as he's a bit of a p***k. Will fire mine in this evening which gives me the rest of the day for a final rummage around the internet.

That's my carefully curated* team in for another year.

I admire your laissez faire approach to it, I've got my '15' but I'm loath to commit with a couple more days to go. I'm sure there's a few more celebs at death's door, I just need to find the feckers.....

Still got a week to go (more or less) and got 3 solid replacements for the 6 empty billets. Three provisionals lined up, assuming the rest survive or I don't dive into a frenzy of last minute research. I know where the smart money is.....

Is Nigel the only undead Kennedy?
I'm sure, what with this being the Deadpool that we're making plans for Nigel.
Anyhoo....

Walter Smith gets the red card.
Simply the deadest.
Seemed a decent fellah, shared a flight to Prague with him and back in about 2002 (and a 737 full of other randoms) and while I'm not someone who chases celebs, did make small talk while we were waiting on our luggage back in Embra. I admit that's not a lot to base the "decent fellah" on but its all I've got.

I've absolutely no idea why I chose him apart from the fact that he was a total c**t of a man. Good to know that my dislike for someone is enough to send them to an early grave.
I'd advise my enemies to sleep with one eye open tonight.
Is 84 an early grave ??? If I make it to 84 I've failed in my plan to drink myself to death in my

What other country (apart from Malawi when Hastings Banda was around) would have a 95 year old as head of state. Even Pope Benedict knew he was too auld and retired.
It's a bit like the last days of Tito. Everyone was expecting him to pop off for years but were still surprised when it happened.
I wonder who will get the gig after her eh ? Must be plenty suitable candidates....

Nothing this week. There's a programme about Tom Parker on Channel 4 tonight at 9PM.
Saw the trailer and he's looking disappointedly healthy.

Saw a thing about him a wee while back and he was pencilled in for next years team too. Just hope my other 'ace in the hole' makes it.

I appreciate he's very much alive, but I had a very vivid dream regarding the sudden demise of Graeme Souness. This dream included Sky Sports TV coverage of the funeral and even a Dead Pool quip (Graeme Too Souness).
Unfortunately, unlike dreaming the name of the winning horse in a race, it's very hard to monetise my new-found prophetic ability. But if Souness were to curl up his toes by the end of the year, could I get some sort of honorary award from the Dead Pool?
Don't know about an honorary award but you can expect a few PM's.
