  1. McKee - can't quite remember what for though.
  2. That's exactly what a mate of mine, who is playing of 4, said to me. I'm starting to do that but will probably need a bit more practise. Cheers mate.
  3. Getting really annoyed on the course now. Putting and iron play are in good shape but leaving myself in ridiculous positions off the tee. Horrible slice atm which I just can't control. Does anybody have any tips?
  4. Stunning picture from the course, in Ireland, that I'm a member of:
  5. Heading over to Ireland for 3 weeks during the Summer. On our way back from Dublin, we're stopping in at Galway for a few nights. As any avid golfer would do, I looked up the closes golf course to the hotel; Gort Golf Club is the course of choice. Has anyone every played it before?
  6. https://twitter.com/#!/Andrew_Ward74 I ain't the old one...
  7. Get down to 12 as I'm currently on 17. COME ON FORZA - YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
  8. Yeah mate, cracking little course. If you are hitting the ball decent you will go round well. Lipped out for an eagle on the 6th last week but made sure I held the birdie putt.
  9. I did mate. Ended up with a 68 (+4) net on the wee course with a double on the last. Was just one of those days where nothing was happening for me. Lipped out for a par 8 times and a silly quadrupole bogey on the fourth always made it an uphill battle. Will move up 0.1 but will learn from the silly mistakes and get a cut. I really wish they would play more stablefords on Saturdays which would really help we, higher handicappers. For example, we all have that one bad hole (me on the 4th on Saturday) but if we were playing stableford, we would only need to put a blank and move on but playing stroke play, it gives you a serious uphill battle. Would you all agree?
  10. I was in that situation just 2 days ago. Standing on every tee waiting on a group of women attempting to hit the ball and yet, despite knowing their holding everyone up, they where just defiant to not let us play through.
  11. Another 18 holes and yes, you guessed it, another +16 which is level par. Came off really frustrated with 8 three puts which is really poor. Drives and irons were as solid as ever but putting let me down a lot. More positives to take though. Can feel a cut coming on Saturday!
  12. "The one that's nice to talk to but never speak too." Face palm.
  13. Another 18 holes played today on the 'wee course'. Started really poor with 3 double bogeys to open my round but a tap in birdie on 6 really kicked me on. Up and down throughout but finished with a comfortable 65 net which is one over par.
  14. Played 18 holes today. Was going along well and was playing especially good at some points. Pared 3 holes in a row which put me a -2 under my handicap. One bad hole on the 8th after a perfect drive ruined what could have been a really good round. Finished 69 net which is level par. Out again tomorrow. Loving this time off.
  15. This isn't really what this thread is for but did anybody just see Tiger's birdie at the Memorial. it was honestly sick...
  16. I think it's to batter the f*ck out his sister for not helping him lose his virginity. He is from Paisley after all...
