  1. Stream looks good. Thanks to the technical guys for their help getting in.
  2. First the positive Raith TV was excellent quality and well worth the £12, really enjoyed the Greig Spence interview, well done guys and you have a good exciting team to watch for the rest of the season. Now for the negative, thought we played okay for about 70 minutes but Grant's habit of not changing either the starting line up or making subs has come back to haunt us. For me he should walk, we are going down whether he stays or goes.
  3. Don't think it is just our position that is the issue, the way we have played this season has been terrible to watch. Yes we lost O'Hara but then that is Grants job to replace him, keeping Buchanan and Thompson was not the answer and despite Camerons goal today not convinced he is the answer. The lack of speed and directness in the team has made us both ineffective and poor to watch.
  4. Very lucky point. Arbroath looked a far better team than us. Fair play to Big Cameron, when he got decent service took his goal well.
  5. If this stays the same Grant should chuck it, absolutely awful performance. Tactics are poor, signings are poor.
  6. Well done Arbroath you have been miles ahead of us. Played good football and should be further ahead.
  7. We have been awful. Grants tactics not working. Arbroath have been miles ahead of us.
  8. A gutsy win and agree with Robertson for Jamieson made a massive difference.
  9. Others might disagree but I would say he looks fairly disinterested and not even sure that Championship is his level. Scored a brilliant free kick against Inverness but that aside has gone missing in games.
  10. Not harsh its all about opinions, you have every right to defend Adam Brown and any other Alloa player you want to. It is not some kind of vandetta against Adam but I just think he was a poor signing by Jim Goodwin and while he improved last season scoring the goal of the season v Dunfermline but for me shouldn't have been retained. Big Bob has done quite well this season but like Liam they are not good enough to be starters in the Championship and their goals record over the last two seasons supports that. Agree with you about O'Hara, after a poor start he was excellent for us. Getting Banks, Deas and McDonald on loan was inspired and in the last game against Caley we were outstanding. His signings this season have been largely poor. Jamieson looks decent although didn't have a good game today. Ray Grant has been largely ineffective, Murray a brilliant free kick goal aside has been poor, Lynch in the few games I have seen him looks out of his depth and Connelly I don't think has been given much of a chance. Stefan Scougall has been a very good player and could be again if we could get him fit. On Saturday I would play O'Donnell again, was impressed with his performances and gives us a bit more directness. Still not too late to save this but the next two games are crucial and hopefully we can win both.
  11. Possibly harsh to just single out Adam Brown but it has been clear from day one he hasn't been good enough. You could add Blair Malcolm, Liam Buchanan (legend first time around) and probably Bob Thomson from last seasons squad. His new signings like Lynch, Grant,Connelly, Murray have been poor. Waspie makes a valid point about Covid hindering signings. Parry, Taggart and Troutens injuries havent helped either. The buck does stop with Grant, hope he proves me wrong and wins the next two games but can't see it.
  12. The writing has been on the wall for a while. Thought Grant did a good job last year with good signings and loans. This season though we have been poor, retaining guys like Adam Brown was poor and virtually all his new signings have been disappointing. Bottom of the league with 8 points, not good enough.
  13. Played well on Saturday and were a bit unlucky not to get a point. Completely agree, we still need somebody upfront. This time last season we had Hastie, Zanatta and Shields., nowhere near as good options available this season.
  14. The price of Scottish Football is a complete and utter joke. Given the quality, prices ranging from £18 to £26 for the second tier of a country where our European representatives get beaten by a Welsh team and the national team are awful.
  15. We were absolutely awful on Saturday. Definitely missed Andy Graham and his excellent leadership on the park. Nobody played well and the early signs are very worrying. Realise we are only three games into the Season but Peter Grant needs to make a number of good quality loan signings as we have a far weaker squad than the one that finished the season or indeed the one we had from the end of August. His tactics and instance to play from the back is going to get us into real trouble against teams that are better than Arbroath, would hate to see what Shankland would do us given some of the opportunities we have presented in the past two games. Hope he proves me wrong.
  16. No surprise there in Zak an Peggie being released thought Adam Brown would have joined them.
  17. An absolutely brilliant end to the season and a great day out in Ayr on Saturday. The team have been brilliant all season and to finish 8th and so close to the likes of Dunfermline and Partick Thistle is an outstanding achievement. Jim Goodwin deserves all the praise he has received and was delighted to see him shortlisted for the manager of the year award. Unbelievably on Saturday there were a couple of fans in front of us shouting tactical advice to him and he definitely didn't look happy.
  18. I completely agree with the free transfers, no real surprises apart from possibly Gary Fleming who has been a good player for us but think this is the right decision as he is not fit enough to play at Championship level.
  19. Have to agree we have had far worse managers than Jim Goodwin who have been given an easy ride by the fans. Really don't understand the animosity towards him. We don't play the attacking brand of football we played under Jack Ross but generally results and performances under Jim Goodwin were okay. Given the size of our support, club etc. we are punching well above our weight, by finishing above full time clubs like Airdrie.
  20. Jim Goodwin is no Jack Ross but considering some of the managers we have had over the years we could have made a far worse appointment. Granted he inherited a good team and has made some strange/incorrect personnel decisions but this is his first job and we were a penalty away from being a Championship Team. Personally I will be interested to see who he brings in during the Summer. Gutted to see Jason Marr leave, an excellent player for the club and for me a much better partner for the outstanding Andy Graham. Graeme has been a great servant to the club as well.
