  1. Ospreys and Scarlets to merge and a new 4th welsh team created in north wales for next season apparently.
  2. They could hide his frailties by having him in gimmick matches on impact. Those car wreck full metal mayhem things. Or, I’m sure Flair still needs money. They’re both likely about 3/4 divorces deep. Ric Flair v Bad Ass American Mark in an Alimony Payments on a pole match at Slammiversary!
  3. They could use that but give him the Bob Holly Racing gimmick, with the drivers overalls to hide his old man body.
  4. I know it wouldn’t ever happen but I’d like to see him show up on impact, just for whatever gimmick name they come up with for him.
  5. The best thing about that semi final was the fact that Ulster pretty much chucked the final game of the regular season at Scotstoun the week before. Playing a more or less second string side, thinking that coming back to scotstoun at full strength was preferable to going away to Leinster/Munster or whatever the various permutations might have been. They thought they’d roll Glasgow over in the semi final with their first VX. One of my favourite Games as a warriors fan with a bit of an edge to things in the last 5-10 minutes. f**k Irish rugby!
  6. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/47164954 A reminder of why the Irish are so detestable!
  7. It's in his column on the Daily Mail website. Predictably he has England down as his winners.
  8. Clive Woodward predicts a 5th place finish for Scotland in this years Six Nations! Might as well just chuck it now. Anyone else cautiously optimistic about it? I have a feeling we'll beat the Irish. I get that they beat New Zealand and they'll start as favourites, i just can't shake thinking that when i see these same players play for Munster and Leinster etc that they aren't that great and are essentially a team full of insufferable p***ks! Connor Murray and Johnny Sexton chief among them. A good start beating Italy and then the Irish and surely only glorious failure awaits when Scotland implode away from home.
  9. level on points but finishing behind them means Glasgow would avoid them in the quarter finals? or even losing with a couple of bonus points for 4 tries and being within a score of them would see Glasgow avoid them?
  10. Jamie Murray & Bruno Soares win the doubles title in Sydney. The last time the did that they went on to win the doubles at the Australian open so a good omen
  11. Do people want to see Khan v Brook? Maybe a few years ago as someone mentioned above. Kind of similar to the Ricky Hatton, Junior Witter situation. They should have fought when both title holders in their prime but the higher profile fighter (Hatton) wasn't interested.
  12. When was the last time Glasgow lost 3 games on the spin? must be quite a few years! My biggest fear is Munster winning the conference and Glasgow having to play Edinburgh in the play off Quarter finals, two weeks after losing to them again in the final league game of the season! Edinburgh seem to have our number, could easily see a repeat of the previous two games again.
  13. Frank Turner at the end of this month, Jimmy Eat World as support!! Not music but a comedy gig, got tickets for Bill Burr in February from the wife at Christmas.
  14. Do you think he'd consider a run in doubles with his brother? Not as physically demanding as the singles game, They've always performed well together in Davis cup games. Maybe a chance to claim a few more grand slam trophies with his brother?
  15. Our cat having a peek downstairs to see if anyone had come In that’s worthwhile coming down for!
  16. Combined Glasgow/Edinburgh VX as chosen by bbc sport users.
  17. That team should have more than enough to beat what should be a 2nd string Lyon side who have nothing to play for having lost their first 3 games.
  18. Having lost their first 3 games you’d assume Lyon will chuck it now and bring over a shadow squad next week? Usually par for the course for the French teams.
  19. Alex Allan given a 3 week suspension following his red card at the weekend.
  20. Edinburgh train from central should be running. Few more stops along the way but only around 10/15 minutes longer than the Queen Street train. That or low level is my usual route to Murrayfield for rugby.
  21. Kit clash to blame for the Cardiff loss today.
  22. Sums it up, good passage of play, making yards then a hopeless pass.
