Ha that’s been annoying me for weeks! Probably still advertising this now available sponsorship space before having Macron knock up a fresh batch of shirts perhaps.
Well by the time he knew the rebellion had already happened and Rhaegar was dead. Robert was about to take the iron throne, his duty then was to his sister and her son. Robert would have had Jon Snow killed had he known he was the son of Lyanna and Rhaegar.
Got an email from warriors, of the three games v Edinburgh two will be played at murrayfield. Season ticket holders for Glasgow will all be given a ticket for the first 1872 cup game at murrayfield and two tickets for the third game.
BBC site says it'll be two conferences of 7 teams. You'll play the teams in your group twice and the teams in the other group once. So two games fewer than last season. Perhaps they'll have rest weeks during the six nations. That would certainly help Glasgows cause. Given the numbers I'd imagine against the teams in the other conference you'd play 4 home and 3 away one season and the opposite the following. I wonder if Glasgow will give us some money back on our season tickets for getting one game less?
I like the home kit. Not so much the away or the sevens kit. I think Macron for the most part have done a great job since they took over the Scotland and Glasgow shirt sponsorship.
Suggesting two groups of 7 on the BBC website. It still could end up as a league of 12. Generally around this time we start to hear noises about the Italian sides potentially being cut from the league over funding issues.
They did finally win an award. They won best cable tv comedy at the people's choice awards! Though they found out about it online and the award was posted to them. They didn't get an invite to the ceremony!
I saw idlewild and Super Furry Animals at the summer nights gigs last year. Drinks, its moretti on tap and there was an Eden mills van for gins and what not.
It's easy to get caught up in hyperbole and such but it's really refreshing to be so upbeat about an aspect of Scottish sport. Regardless of the Fiji result to come this has been a positive tour, people are seeing what Townsend is about (if they hadn't already at Glasgow) quick ball, fast paced attacking rugby. Good times to come.
What makes today even more impressive is the players missing from today's team. Hogg, Seymour, Bennett, Maitland, Richie Gray, Huw Jones all could have been starters had they been available.
Oh and up to 4th in the world rankings. We can beat these again in November can't we? Maybe even show the lions how it's done and sneak a win over New Zealand!
