  4. Hitting the bottle on a monday night benny? Time to face up to your problems and admit whats happening.........
  5. What a game, thought Kerry were going to pull it out of the fire at the end but simply left themselves too much to do late on, paying the price for being outfought and outclassed for the first hour or so. Good luck Donegal and hope they go on to lift 'the sam'
  6. Been switching between the murray tennis final and the Kerry/Donegal match and at h.t Kerry look in trouble here. Their keeper had a howler at the goal, almost like aberdeens goalie yesterday Donegal look to have the bit between their teeth and looking favourites here at the moment. E.T.A Donegals white change shirt is stunning, not too keen on Kerry's blue effort though
  7. Er... no i was merely repeating what a lot of the experts have said about the headingley pitch, as well as pointing out how even Warne, the greatest player even to play the game IMO and my cricketing hero can call it wrong at times.
  8. Spin bowlers have never had much success at Headingley, its a ground traditionaly that doesnt 'turn' for the spinners. I remember Sharne Warne seething when the aussies dropped Nathan Hauritz there in 2009 and went with an extra seam bowler in stuart clarke. They promptly bowled england out for about 100 runs Add to the fact Swann was brutal in first test its no surprise he waa dropped IMO
  9. Donegal v Kerry is a real torn loyalty one for me, have family from both areas and have both shirts as well, actually ive always had the Kerry shirt but got the Donegal in the sale at a visit to Croke last year. Being pushed ill go for Kerry, the kingdom but will cheer on Donegal to croker should they win the 1/4 final. What date is this match & i assume it will be on Premier Sports?
  10. Maybe not a good idea to mention at the next home game where you got married recently.... then you will literally soil yourself
  11. An uncle of mine bought one of those 'season tickets for life' in the club deck (he married into our lot, no blood tie, phew) No bad auld fella to be fair, he died about eight years ago & left it to his 'laddie' who is a wee fud. Does that mean its now null and void. ?
  12. We went to a sizzler/steakhouse type place first night and a thai/oriental rest on last night.. both were very good if a tad pricey About 80 euros for us both two courses and a couple of beers and a bottle of plonk. Still enjoyed it but might have saved a few quid had we shopped around a bit more
  13. South Africa took 20 wickets England managed 2...... !!! That is the equivalent of a 10-0 roughly in football. Is all the praise and hype over the england side over the past two or three years going to their heads a bit i wonder ? Pietersen in particular i feel is a liability rather than an asset now
  14. If South Africa can bat all day tomorrow they should win the test. How unusually awful was Englands bowling attack ? Im a big admirer of Anderson and Swann, they can turn/win a match single handed but they were dreadful today. Even the big wicket of Greame Smith was more down to luck than a good peice of bowling. Bresnan was a bit exposed IMO as well, a decent county or ODI bowler but not quite up to this standard. Watch him bowl SoodEfreaka out in ten overs now after me saying that
  15. Wasnt aware McDonalds had their shift rotas made up so far in advance
  16. Steyn's delivery that got Cook out was an absolute peach and could change the course of the game. When in his rythym he is the number one bowler in the world IMO
  17. Just put on some David Bowie, Beatles and T-Rex. Same thing really but a lot better
  18. Are the drinks free ?? Is there fun and sunshine, as well as enough for everyone ??
  19. Theyve knocked down most of the shitehole part of it and built a shitload of new council houses.. the big building on the right is the newish community campus. That houses Raploch Primary and St Marys Primary as well as a few training units, a cafe, a hairdressers, council offices etc. Most of the scummy neds etc have been papped out to St Ninians and the Cornton, although being the Rap-Tap a few still remain.
  20. I went there a few years ago for a weekend surprise romantic away thingy... got a really cheap deal off the internet for flights and accomadation etc but f**k me, the food/drink/taxis etc were expensive... only Dublin is dearer IMO. Stunning place though, mesmerising history and buildings etc and great food and entertainment etc... if a bit pricey. Worth it though
