  1. Dirty cheating tax-dodging bigot scum Not sure I've got a proper hold of this game....
  2. Regardless of what it says, there will be some clause or other that allows the OF to circumvent the rules that would apply to anyone else
  3. One applauds thy maturity. I hope you also had tongue out and thumbs in ears!
  4. So if he obtained the Ticketus money through false means, does that mean the Lloyds' debt may still exist?
  5. So Rangers sold out two games - which most people would expect a club with your fan base to do anyway, especially when one of those games is against Hearts Rangers fans pledged millions to a fund - how much money actually changed hands? It's very easy to say you will give money, much harder to actually get hold of it. The Blue Knights - also known as the consortium headed by two guys who were on the board when David Murray got them in the sh*t. One of whom is being done for tax evasion in South Africa. They sound like great guys Again on the protests? "Travelling" to help Dunfermline. Forgive my cyncism, but I wonder how many of those people will actually be travelling to Fife, and how many are already there. And boycotting Dundee United. Yes, how dare they ask for the money they are owed. And how dare they sell the tickets themselves to make sure they actually get paid. Scum of the highest order!
  6. I asked the question yesterday - in all seriousness, what were Rangers fans doing about it? There were thousands backing them through the times when they were winning the titles and racking up the debt, but when it became an issue, the best ideas were "let's have an orange top" and "youse need us". The share issue was almost totally ignored, and was there a viable alternative to Whyte? And as for the protests at Ibrox, the less said, the better! As I mentioned, when Celtic were in the sh*t, their fans put hands in pockets. Dundee did the same, and I am certain that United fans and fans of other clubs would too. So why didn't Rangers fans do anything? Please bear (no pun etc) in mind that this is not a dig at you personally, but I would imagine you are in a stronger position to answer than I am!
  7. Exactly. When this idea first appeared, I explained it to a mate using the analogy of inheriting your parents' house. You know you will get it when they die, but that doesn't mean you can sell it with them still in it!
  8. True, but that is £18m of debt to Lloyds that no longer needs serviced, or £24m owed to Ticketus which no longer needs serviced. Surely that money then becomes available to service other debts? No? As for the Ticketus deal - if Rangers aren't liable, who is? And once again, how do you sell something that doesn't belong to you?
  9. So with that £24 million accounted for, presumably Rangers can afford to pay the £15m in tax they owe for the season?
  10. What's the average away allocation in the 3rd - could QP get away with only giving them 100 tickets in a 50k stadium?
  11. Throughout the whole thing, even since before Whyte took over, the one thing that constantly comes back to me is WATP - where are the people? They all had the opportunity to invest in the share issue, but didn't. They all had the chance to bid at the same time as Whyte, but didn't. And now they all have the chance to save their club, but won't. Why not? Other than the idea of selling some orange jerseys and a consortium headed by two guys who got them into the original mess, there has been nothing. I'd like to think that, if United were in trouble, the fans would work their backsides off to help them. And despite my dislike for large sections of the Celtic support, I have to give them credit - when their club was struggling, they put their hands in their pockets and did something about it. So Rangers fans, as Delia said - where are you, let's be having you!
  12. That's a fair point. But surely they should at least have a look when it is a change in majority shareholder and chairman?
  13. Regan on Rangers "Disaster" Apart from the obvious, the thing that caught my eye was " "Surely the fit and proper person criteria should be met BEFORE someone buys a club?
  14. So the big hoose is still open, but no-one is in? Or if they are, they are hiding behind the curtains!
  15. They can't finish any lower than 1th, so at worst they could give them that. However, prize money is a reward for performance over the course of the season - if they can't complete the season, they aren't entitled to a prize
  16. I've looked carefully, but I can't see Craig Whyte anywhere on the list - is he not a billionaire after all?
