As their local newsagent is currently owed 576 pounds, I reckon their credit's used up there.... Also, just how many different electricity and gas suppliers do they owe money to? It seems they've just waited for the red bill and moved on, waited for the red bill and moved on.... Scum. Let them die. Or.... Let the new mob start from the bottom with no history, no gloryhunters, tiny crowds and a huge debt to service and a stadium to maintain that they'll never come close to half-filling (sound familiar, fellow diddies?). Could be even funnier in the long run - 'cos those bears do like their five-star and "No Surrender" tattoos, don't they? I wouldn't mind betting there's been a few morons tipping up to have "we don't do walking away" inked over their XXXXXL man-boobs. First image on here wins a prize - apparently we can get you a Davie Weir Memorial Decanter for free! (if you're a credit-worthy "institution"). KTID

They only threw the cash to the Pars to underline the fact that they WEREN'T paying the Arabs. And as its rangers, not the Peoples' Front of Govan (Govan Popular Front? It's getting confusing) that owe Dunfermline money, the debt hasn't actually been paid. So hopefully Dunfermline will get their money paid again (although the way things are going, looks like nobody's getting their due). KTID

Couldn't agree more - if a big set of lying cheating scumbags gets away with this behaviour, it sets the precedent for all the little scumbags running our teams to follow suit. Analogy - a weegie trog (for instance) murders a teacher. Sentence: life his mate murders a bricklayer. Sentence: life Somebody murders a weegie trog. Sentence: life It's not who's done it or who they've done it to - it's what they've done that counts. And the only mitigation I would offer is that rangers are currently behaving like some thick gangsta posing in the dock, contemptuous of civilised society, happy with being the centre of attention and unable to understand the consequences of his breaking the rules of the game. Not the kind of attitude conducive to light sentencing. Take them down! KTID

They're only necessary if we want to maintain the status quo. If SKY's millions and the vast financial benefit that travelling orcs bring to "diddy" teams disappears, what are we left with?* 1. A reduced financial footing for smaller clubs in the short term. 2. One "institution" instead of two. 3. Probable reduced participation in Europe. BUT: a. A more honest competition. b. A clear warning to anyone else thinking of trying the same tricks. c. An increase in fans of teams who may have a chance of WINNING something. d. A reduction in football-related violence and associated policing and criminal justice costs. e. A reduction in sectarian bigotry besmirching our game. f. The chance for teams to hang onto their young talent long enough to build a decent side (a la Hibees of about 2005) g. The opportunity for celtic fans to decide who they're going to hate now their ugly Sisters have gone. h. In time, an attractive, competitive league of at least the standard of the current SPL: which SKY can have the rights to IF the price is right and the money gets split more equitably. Fanciful, maybe, but none of the above are impossible. Time for Scottish football as a whole to grow a pair and boot this mob out. Legal issues notwithstanding, they have broken more than enough SPL/SFA rules to be sine died. KTID * Smidgeon of sarcasm there - did you spot it bennett? 53 and counting(on his fingers)?

Oh, absolutely! Wee chico well cornered. Thank god there was no video - his churning features must have been enough to put anyone off their fine wine and succulent lamb! I wouldn't be at all surprised if he DIDN'T know who Alex Thomson was - after all, he doesn't play for the peepul, does he? KTID (probably from laughing if chico carries on like this!)

I feel bad about this, but here goes.... Matt Dickinson of the Times - possibly one of the most respected journalists working for definitely one of the most respected newspapers in the world, writes an article about a football match. He asks some questions of your club's representatives and reports the response he received. While you may not agree with his conclusions, are you trying to tell us that he LIED? Bearing in mind anything submitted for publication in that paper would be submitted to legal advisers for clearance, why would he put his position and livelihood at risk by libelling rangers? Do you really think he is part of a conspiracy, committed to destroying The Peepil? I am satisfied that his article is truthful and accurate. I, and many other Scots, have felt the baleful influence of sectarianism and bigotry throughout our lives, from discrimination to physical violence. Your club, and their green Sisters, not only allow bigotry to flourish, but actively promote the retention of antediluvian attitudes to maintain your "special" place as "part of Scotland's heritage". This latest stunt with the Union Flags (not Jacks, unless ibrox is a ship) is, apparently, encouraged by the club. That tells anyone who is interested - and your clubs' behaviour is being noticed outside Scotland - all they need to know about what they stand for. KTID

Gordon Smith: "Ah didnae know" "Ah didnae know" "Ah didnae know" "None ae us knew except (that slimy traitorous villain*) Craig Whyte" "How could ah know if naebody knew" What exactly was that idiot pulling down a wage at ibrox for, exactly? * Didn't actually hear this bit, but you know the party line by now Most one-sided, "please don't ban us from ibrox/parkhead", OF-apologist garbage I've heard on the Beeb - and that's saying something. If Alex Thomson is on the trail of even half of what he's hinting, this mob are going to look mighty embarrassed. UEFA, for a start, might have something to say about the veracity of any eligibility foe their competitions. If that ends up in a "you hammer them or we'll hammer you" a la Sion/Swiss FA, we'll soon see who's to big to fail. KTID

Sorry, mate, 15000+ posts may make you feel you speak with authority, but Matt Dickinson? Utter nonsense? I don't always agree with his writing, but I respect his ability to accurately report what he sees and hears.Bearing in mind the Times is not subject to the usual sanctions from the OF re: "unacceptable" stories, maybe you could have a look at your club as those outside the Glasgow fishbowl see them. KTID (still got more trophies than you...)

Getting rid of hal the coaching staff would raise a lot more money. Including that lump of a "manager". I'm just glad I'm not a Glasgow copper or A&E nurse looking for leave next weekend. Wives and partners must already be bracing themselves and there have been reports of Staffies voluntarily handing themselves into the RSPCA. KTID (We've won more trophies than you...)
