Hopefully only one season of this drivel from the great unwashed. With a bit of luck they’ll be in the “real seaside league” with that other massive club from Grangemouth.
Haven’t really commented much about managers on here in the past but it does seem a bit like we’re sleepwalking ourselves into another relegation battle with the signings we have or in at least one occasion haven’t made so far. Both sides of the “for or against” Hopkin can be made no doubt but does have the feeling of a slightly less shite Roberts era. Hope I’m way off the Mark so to speak.
Never got the stream and beforehand was slightly optimistic of a turgid draw. But fcuk me that’s depressing. Only hope now is that Morton out sh*te us but even our better goal difference has been eroded. Some shambles we are now.
No overly enthused about this appointment, but if he keeps us up then would feel better about it. I’d guess that’d be the same for most disappointed ,meh or underwhelmed Ayr fans.
Never said “I think” that’s why he left, was just questioning which is different. Fair enough if he left for those reasons but guys like him are a big miss. As it stands we don’t have anyone in the team like him and we’re sorely missing an experienced leader on the park.
Stevie Bell leaving was to me the one that was most bizarre. Having committed himself then only days/weeks later saying he couldn’t commit. Maybe he seen this coming and didn’t fancy it. Think he would have been ideal in this situation.
