Don't bother. I have the same phone and the storage is appalling. Keep your photos backed up elsewhere. I can't even keep the WhatsApp photos and videos I get.

I went myself for T2 on Sunday. I can't remember the last time I went with someone else actually. I prefer it. It's not as if you can have a good old chat while you're in there, it's not exactly a social activity - or at least it shouldn't be.
