  1. 0-1 v Morton at Dens (twice) hardly a pumping. We gubbed them away. Ayr only beat us once, the other week, 3-2 thanks to a goal superior to any seen in the SPL this season. Applauded the overhead myself.
  2. Don't have anything against your team, just something about the Rangers game that seems a foregone conclusion, 0-2 or 1-3 usually, played on a Sunday lunchtime with very little atmosphere. Just as much their fault as yours, both teams going through the motions. And I know you've beaten them recently. St Mirren v Celtic is ok, usually because there's a barrowload of goals, and yes, sometimes for you too. Happy now?
  3. Think you're wrong. See above. Your mob need Rangers more than Celtic, even though you always get pumped by them in some really tedious fixtures. St Mirren v Rangers must be the most boring game I can think of. Toss up between that and Killie v Rangers.
  4. Yes, I think Aberdeen could also vote against. Come on, United, think of the derbies!
  5. They pretty much said they were last week. Integrity mentioned, like Hibs...great excuse to get rid of them and more European money for them to compensate for lack of Old Firm games. They can also bring through young players, rather than having to compete with Rangers all the time. More money saved.
  6. And...who's responsible for the big tax bill? Does the newco wash their hands of it? Anybody know?
  7. Has anybody been keeping count? When the SPL vote on the Rangers newco, Celtic and Hibs definitely against it. So 9-2 at the moment. Any more, and what does the vote have to be? Assume Rangers can't vote, so 7-4 will boot them out, yes? And when is all this going to happen? Fixtures to come out June 18, y'ken.
  8. So Rangers are in a bigger mess than ever. They have no time to do a CVA, but might they limp on into next season in admin? That'll cost them plenty. Anyway, they won't get a CVA through. Can't believe these "businessmen" are even contemplating that. And say they do a newco, no matter what division they're in, who is liable for the big tax debt? Cos they would be shafted big time if the newco was liable. WHEN they lose the case. They will, no doubt about it. Answers please. Anybody worked out how the newco vote will go? Against: Celtic. For: Kilmarnock. What about the other nine? I'd say: Against: Aberdeen, Hibs, Hearts. For: Motherwell, St Mirren, Kilmarnock, Dundee Utd, St Johnstone, Inverness. So 7-4, is that enough to boot them out?
  9. So say by some stretch of the imagination, Dundee are hit with a fine. For one deal. Your punishment will be around 50 times as much, for all the other dodgy transfers. Look inwards. Your club is on the way out, and we all want blood.
  10. This story is only going to get worse for Rangers. It's ludicrous to think bids of £11m will be enough, WHEN they lose the big tax case. How does that address debts of £134m?? Doncaster can look as smug and cool as he wants, but the SPL is in a serious mess. And I'm smug because Dundee have done their time. Now it's time for everyone else to face The Grim Reaper. We're hovering like vultures, baby....
  11. God, I'm sick of all this Republican/Unionist shite. Now is the time to cast the Old Firm adrift/put them in their place. It's gone on far too long. We'll take our chances without them.
  12. What you on about? You really think Rangers have a way out of this? Tell me then, all ears...
  13. No chance HMRC will go for a CVA. They've never gone with CVAs before, as we know at Dundee.
  14. Just what the guy told me. He works for HMRC and said they were in no hurry. They know they're going to win the case, fat lot of good it will do them anyway as they'll be lucky to get £5m of the £100m they are due. They must have uncovered lot more than they expected, and are still sorting it all out.
  15. Talking to a very good (tax) insider, Rangers WILL lose the big tax case, but the verdict may not be imminent. Setting that aside (!) they will not get a CVA through, no chance. HMRC and Ticketus will vote against it. Forget all you're reading, this will happen. So they will be liquidated and sold off. That's not all, they will be an embarrassment to the SPL once the big tax verdict reveals what they've been up to, breaking rules and regulations all over the place. All this prevaricating is only delaying the inevitable; think the administrators know that deep down. There is no way out for them, and the SFA/SPL have a lot of big decisions to make. Seems to me, hiding them away in Div 3 would be the best option. The newco could of course buy out another club, maybe Cowdenbeath, and get back to the top flight quicker, but that would be an even bigger stain on their 'history'; the newco wouldn't have one of course. This story is only going to get bigger, and will go down as one of the most significant landmarks in Scottish football history. And yes, I'm loving it seeing one of the Old Firm cut down to size. The Old Firm, fuelled by bigotry, have used Scottish football as their plaything for far too long. All that Dambusters stuff and Irish music, give me a break! The rest of us are sick to the back teeth of it all, and forever being told we need them. We don't. Forget the TV money in the short term, painful though that might be. Rangers going bust will be one of the best things ever to happen to the Scottish game.
  16. Rangers' problems are only just beginning. They'll lose the 'big tax case' I've been told, so will have not a hope of CVA being accepted, will be liquidated and demoted, if the banks have their way. Clubs can't wipe the slate clean and resume the status quo, or they'd all be at it, removing all bank debt by going under. Can't see any other scenario. It means the New Rangers will probably buy a Div 1 team, take them over and restart from there. Cowdenbeath should avoid promotion at all costs! Seriously, a lot of them are sitting ducks for this sort of takeover at little expense.
