  1. Have a look at this, says it all about f***ing Old Firm. http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/4389782/Hoops-fans-issue-threat.html Can we get rid of Celtic too now? Please!! Anybody?
  2. Is there any evidence the tide has turned for The Rangers? No. If there was, you can be sure we'd have it rammed down our throats by the usual suspects. I mean that CG story of two weeks ago. 19 targets, 5 of them at Euro 2012? Renaming rights for Ibrox, £10m? Rangers interested in Ian Black? These stories were so fanciful and ignored the real issues. The Rangers are shot to pieces, in tatters. Nobody is saying if they have any money to spare after joke administrators D&P have been paid, if The Rangers have any players for that matter. They are a walking corpse, a shell of a club. They have got to admit defeat, and apply for Division 3. And at least walk away with some dignity.
  3. I'll give you 5-1 that they vote yes. Stick £5 in my PayPal account. It's over, bar the fine detail. Rangers, sorry The Rangers, aren't getting in. And I've been right so far, saying they would lose the BTC and that the CVA would be rejected. Any fool could see the CVA had no chance, and I was told they'd lose the BTC from an HMRC source. I suspect your sources are in your head.
  4. OK, OK. But I always call them The Rangers now, for accuracy, but mainly in the hope it gets right up the noses of any of them looking in
  5. The Rangers HAVE to go down to Division 3. If they get accepted by the SFL. That's where Livingston ended up and we would have too, if we were in the close season. And what we were guilty of is nothing, nothing, compared to the serial decade or so of cheating that went on at Ibrox. Just don't see where any compromise comes in. What would be the argument for The Rangers in SFL1? I'm happy to boycott Dens if Dundee vote for this shocking state of affairs. We must all do the same. We've seen what power the fans have.
  6. Well said. But I do have sympathy with club chairmen who are struggling to make ends meet, and are sorely tempted by £ signs. Kilmarnock and Thistle, to name two of the offenders, must be so near the brink to behave like that.
  7. Well, if they ain't in the SFA, they're f**ked. And it was reported last week that the newco would be punished for the oldco's crimes. By the SFA or SPL I can't remember. But one of them said it.
  8. Not a question of voting them out. They have to be voted in, and the SPL won't continue with 11 teams. The SFA suspension is a different matter entirely. They will be suspended from playing in whatever league accepts them, presuming it's a Scottish one. I know we're almost certain to benefit now. That's football. I'd happily stay down for another year, as long as this closed shop of the SPL is sorted out. Play-offs, great, please! SFL1 will have three new teams next season, that's the way forward.
  9. Can't see them being kicked out altogether, but the SFA could suspend The Rangers for a year. How would they survive? No players, as most look like they can go for free, and no income. I was told they'd lose the BTC, and looks like they have, but it's not been reported as such. Also knew they'd very little chance of the CVA going through. It's so frustrating when you see people doubting these things will never happen because it's the mighty Rangers. Where is their money going to come from? Fans buy season tickets for a season that never was and gain some benefits for the future?
  10. Wonder if Celtic are waiting to apply the coup de grace? Quick call to Easter Road, to make Hibs' stance official, then the way is clear for them. The The Rangers fans can't hate Celtic any more than they do now, so to be the fifth club would be of no odds to them.
  11. Now that would be worse than being a Yes man all along. Can you imagine the fans' reaction if a club changes its mind? Forget the secret ballot, all fans have a right to know and will know how their club votes.
  12. OK, fair cop. But that's how it feels on the other side of the fence. We've seen it from both sides now, in the words of the great song. So suppose I can understand how the Rangers fans feel. Push a football fan into a corner and he comes out fghting. Other fans would be no different, no point coming on here and taking the high ground. But how orgasmic is it to see a giant felled like this?
  13. Vlad is bonkers, a loose cannon, but he's a star today for saying NO. So definite NOs for me are Celtic, Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen. They are big clubs, now the rest will be influenced by that and vote how their heart tells them, not their heads
  14. No response to Baird theft. Check No response to threat of you going bust. Check I agree with all your points above, apart from the last one. Only one I feel guilty about is the creditors, but come on, get real. Fans are obsessed with their clubs, and we were so worried about our future, I doubt if many of our fans gave creditors a second thought. Happy to consider all their woes now, though. As for the Thistle fan, words fail me...
  15. “Of course, there’s nothing to prevent a Scottish club buying an English club and changing it’s name and it’s colours. “The real problem occurs when a club tries to play ‘home’ games in a different country to the one where the league is based.” Read more: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/feeds/smartphone/scotland/4385538/Greens-plot-to-buy-Bury.html#ixzz1yQ6aDQV2 So Rangers could buy Bury, play in light blue as Rangers and play their home games in Carlisle if they agreed to groundshare? Same colours at the stadium, plenty of fans piling down the M74. Far fetched but not impossible. Ah, one snag might be what to do with Ibrox....
  16. I suspect you are in more danger of going bust. And you stole Baird from Airdrie, right?
  17. Look, pal. We were hit with a world record -25 points deduction. The fact we overcame it is irrelevant. That was the (excessive) punishment for our crime and we got on with it. End of story. Can see you being upset about us turning a disaster into a triumph but that's football. As for signing your players, that's the way it goes too. If they're any good, they'll move up another level. We all have our natural place in the pecking order. You're about right, and we should be in the SPL, top half.
  18. Look at it another way. The fact that The Rangers lovers are desperate to get them into Div 1 says that they won't be in the SPL next season. Think that can be taken as read now. They know what's coming, and are urgently trying to make their landing as soft as possible. That must be because the SPL/SFA sanctions won't allow The Rangers into the SPL. Never mind the vote. Will the SFA act before the vote? We know the SPL won't apply sanctions until after it.
  19. Ha ha. Suppose I do. Fair point. Difference between us and them is we've put all that behind us, and accepted our penalty without too much fuss (ok, the club did and we moaned like f**k). The Rangers haven't yet confronted the abyss which awaits them. And yes, I was pissed off that our debt was miniscule compared to some SPL clubs yet we were pilloried for it. This is why the SPL are shit scared now. I always hoped that one day we could step in and take advantage once we got our house in order. I accept our club has been humiliated TWICE for shameful behaviour. No question. But it's somebody else's turn now.
  20. Right, let's see where Kilmarnock are when the dust settles. All you guys who mocked us, your clubs just haven't been found out yet. But the way things are going, your time is nigh.
  21. Come on, you must have been in awe of our magnificent response to the savage, world-record -25 penalty. A last minute winner against Partick at Dens is a sweet memory. We had one of our best seasons ever thanks to your chairman and his ilk. And no one can ever take that away from us. And your ground is the bleakest hole I've ever visited, on a par with Cowden, and much worse than Albion Rovers.
  22. Just listening to 'Off The Ball' as recommended, and I can recommend it too. Only 3 days left! As Stuart and Tam say, why should the SPL let in a club who are artificially debt-free? Absolutely no club, bar Kilmarnock - Johnston is an embarrassment to Scottish football - can vote The Rangers in surely?
