  1. Farage now saying he would be a more popular choice for leader of the Conservatives than Rishi Sunak if or when the Tories lose the next GE. How would this go down with the likes of Jacob Reece-Mogg whom currently is not getting the move further to the right he's looking for with Conservative MP's Sunak is very much being seen now as a weak leader. Farage is seen by many as an utter clown but considering the state of the last two PMs and leaders of the party nothing would be surprising in this day and age.
  2. Anyone worried about themselves catching the extreme right wing epidemic can take this questionnaire to just check if they are fine. I recommend you take it at least once a day to be sure. My little red dot landed in Left and Libertarian square despite my years of watching right wing content online, unaffected. https://www.politicalcompass.org/test

  4. Maybe you did, maybe he had a point as well. But it didn't half go on past the point of being tedious reading. Neither of you were going to budge, agree to disagree, let it go.
  5. Take a break man, these last couple of pages have been brutal reading.
  6. would you say you are open minded? Its not uncommon for people throughout the political spectrum to take ideas from the other end of the spectrum and support them. Seeing Reform UK as no different. Problem here is the linage on where this party originally came from, its roots. Some really good ideas but the wrong people, whom easily could have a darker agenda. History is an excellent teacher so we shouldn't be repeating the same mistakes that others and ourselves have made.
  7. I've always looked at this as the last attempt by a Roman Catholic succession line for the throne after being excluded by the Bill of Rights 1689 in Parliament. It has nothing to do with whether Scotland does or doesn't need Independence in the past or in the present. The whole popular idea of the Jacobites mainly portrayed in books and later in the 20th Century in films as plucky revolutionaries is entirely based on the romanticisms of the Victorians, who reinvented Scotland as their own concept, their fiction becoming reality becomes a modern fantasy adventure for the tourists.

  9. Can't see a unionist party win in Scotland unless there is a huge amount of Nationalist voter apathy and or a huge support moving away from the SNP to one of the unionist parties, meaning those people have completely given up on Independence. Can you imagine that huge swing in Scotland to an Israel bombing Gaza supporting Labour Party. If voter apathy is rampant in England it opens the cat flap for the far-right to enter the room gaining from the anti government protest non voting.
  10. The SNP will stroll to winning nearly every seat in Scotland for the same reason armchair football fans now support Manchester City. The SNP could copy and paste their 2019 manifesto for the the next GE, no one would notice and they would still win. Meanwhile both Tories and Labour in Scotland will do their best wasp in a jar impressions.
  11. Someone will end up being seriously hurt or killed eventually due to the number of swatting incidents that keep happening to Judges and both sides of the court rooms. No seen much on UK TV about this, US TV would have covered a number of incidents over the last few months. I would assume also on how dirty the Presidential Election later this year is going to be that the number of swatting incidents will rise. Anyone who uses swatting as a weapon regardless if they think its all a joke, it should be treated as attempted murder.
  12. Seriously are people really getting offended by this right now over 30 years too late - https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/news/people/edinburgh-castles-redcoat-cafes-name-to-be-reviewed-after-re-opening-backlash-with-jacobite-room-also-4515140 https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/news/opinion/columnists/silly-separatists-banned-list-john-mclellan-4518064 Should the names be changed, if so what should they be changed to align with up to date preferences?
  13. SNP Highland councillor Karl Rosie whom represented Caithness has quit and gave something like that as one of the reasons. He said he was "deeply troubled" by SNP policies which "often seem disproportionately focused on the central belt". He also said he felt disillusioned with the party's "incoherent independence strategy". Independence not a priority any more under Humza?

  15. Labour as usual doing their best to lose the next GE. Confirmed that the SNP will use the scheduled opposition day next week to force a vote to urge the UK Government to call for an immediate cease fire in Gaza. The rifts in the Labour Party should be apparent. The SNP will surely be labelled antisematic going by the current hysterics on who supports or doesn't the continued targeting of civilians in Gaza and SNP MP's will have their social media analysed for any antisematic behaviours. Looks like the 'left' Labour preparing for Government want to continue as the uncaring evil Tories leave off. Sorry, I should say the other arse cheek prepares for Government.
  16. Not one to miss out on a point scoring opportunity over the uncaring Tories, Richard Tice has said that Reform UK will launch its own COVID vaccine inquiry after the grilling Rishi Sunak got on yesterday's Q&A on GB News. Can't wait.

  20. He's been in the news before having worked on historical child abuse cases including the cover up of Cyril Smith's behaviour which in turn led to David Steel's fall from the Lib Dems and the House of Lords for participating in the cover up. Very stupid of him to do what he did sexting a 17 year old and he has fully acknowledged that. Looked like his investigations into historic child abuse damaged him, ended his marriage as well. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-35204398 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Danczuk
  21. I'd think that there would be a few questions aimed at how soft the Tories have been on immigration, regarding the impression not doing enough. The wellingborough by-election and the potential losses to The Reform Party UK there which could be a sharp dose of reality for the Government. The mess that the NHS is in, Tax cuts?? etc. Sunak on GB News would want get across well to stem the potential haemorrhaging of votes to Reform especially in the Tory heartlands which would weaken their attempt to fight off Labour in the GE. Reform once allies now a genuine threat and potentially could end up as the third party in the UK after the next General Election. Not a surprise as much of Europe appears to be heading in this political direction.
