Just watched highlights on JZ. Good to see they have got cameras behind the goal now, though I wish someone would learn to use the zoom on the main camera!!

Well that was a boot in the knackers. Backed Anderson for 1st goal in every game when he joined and had success at 40/1 and 33/1. Decided to swap to Tam this season and bingo in his first game back he scores 1st. Only problem was Skybet werent doing goalscorers for BF Cup today!!! Re game. Thought we lacked pace, defence looked dodgy, we need a guy that is gonna get us double figure goals and I cant see Miller and Mansell doing that though I thought Miller was OK today. O’Ware obviously got MOTM because of the goal but for me Cardle was the clear winner of that!!

Javejag’s post .’.... and asked if we should speak to Jacqui Low and Duncan Smillie (Rocks owner)... was told she was only in currently because of the Weirs relationship which is thawing now and the books haven't been as clean as they should be... indeed Weirs were asking questions. Some astonishing allegations being made by Javejag over on WAT. Stating that he heard that sheriff officers forcibly removed the three directors from Firhill yesterday and that it appears the Weirs appear to be querying the finances at the club and that the books might not be as clean as being reported! This, if true, is a whole new ball game!!

Anyway to get back on track, its going to be an interesting few weeks at the club. Who knows where this is going to end up!! To be honest, I would prefer to see some serious transfer activity in the not too distant future!

My take on this and it might be total pish, is that Beatts and co are all shareholders and they have moved back on to the board to complete the takeover. Once that is done they will move out again with their share pay offs. Wasnt that long since Beatts said he couldnt devote time to the club and stood down. What has changed? I think this is an interim board pending the takeover being approved and if it is, then we will see the real changes at the club. Could be the beginning of the end for Caldwell, Kerr and Britton as well!

Well got my place for meet Gary Caldwell Part 2. Quite surprised seeing as I was at Part 1 as well. Anyone else?

Still time to go and while I think Caldwell has recruited pretty well there has been a distinct lack of “wow, that is a terrific signing, cant wait to see him in action” type. In saying that, Coulibaly was that type last year and that was a disaster!!

Problem is that everybody in our division is looking at roughly the same players in a certain wage bracket. I am sure Caldwells intention was to get guys in quickly but if his targets have a three or four club option they tend to hold off for the best offer. Cant be easy. Confident he will get a few in this week and agree that we probably still need another 6 or so to complete the squad

Need to watch it again, maybe it was Brian Kerr that said 2/3 in his interview. Either way some new faces next week hopefully

Caldwell interviewed on Jagzone after game today. Hoping to have 2/3 new players in before next Saturday!

Hard to believe from 7 months ago we have lost regular players like Erskine, Doolan, Elliot, Spittal and probably Fitzpatrick. Dont think many jags fans would have forecast that. No excuses this season, its Caldwells team now and it needs to hit the ground running!!

Good signing but I dont think he is coming here to play 2nd fiddle to a youngster. Caldwell made it clear at his “seminar” that Snedders would start the season as No1. Should be interesting!
