If you get the Keown that appeared at Firhill for 6 months in Jan 17, its a great bit of business for the Saints. If you get the one that has been stealing a wage for 18 months, tough titties. The ability is there, but we havent seen it for a long time. Change of scenery might kick start his career. As for Bell...,,,,.please take him!!

Have to agree. If we can ship out Bell, even on loan, it must be one of the most radical clear out of diddies,achieved by any club, in the notoriously difficult January window. All credit to Caldwell!

No matter everyones thoughts on Caldwell, my decision was not to judge him until he got some of his own signings in. We are undefeated since that happened, he has cleared outa few and we are suddenly looking a helluva lot better. Lets hope it continues!

Still need a centre half. McGinty is horrific. For a guy his size he should be winning 90% of headers coming into the box. If we dont get one lets hope Tam O’Ware is back quicker than expected. Roy was dreadful, so think we need another striker unless Mansell is any good. Plus points were Cardle, who was excellent, Hazard with a couple of excellent stops, Banzo, Fitzy starting and Couly actually getting a 5 minute run out. Harkins was good when he came on as well. If we are to get out of this mess we need to sort the defence out by the close of the transfer window!

Oli Shaw would be a terrific signing but he seems to have been a regular, either starting or from the bench, for Hibs this season so I would be surprised if we got him. Other factor is Caldwells rant about Lennon earlier in the season, bringing a lot of his troubles on himself. Cant think Lennon would have been impressed by that!! ETA Just read Hibs.net. While I think he should go and that she has had a nightmare since she became chairman, fans need to be careful what they spout out about Low. Its clear she is held in very high regard by the Weirs and the last thing we need at the moment is them pulling out from the club while we are at rock bottom.

Being honest I think 1500 would be looked on as an excellent crowd. Only thing that might drag a few along is the £10 entry and a couple of decent signings and I wont be holding my breath on the latter transpiring!!

I posted on here after the Morton game that Coulibaly was fit to play. He told me in hospitality after the game, though interestingly he did add....if picked!. Fast forward to the next Friday Jagzone message from Caldwell before the Dundee Und game, where he states Coulibaly had just restarted training and was about 4 weeks away from the first team. Someone is telling porkies and I dont think its Coulibaly!!In a team that creates and scores very little his omission is a disgrace given all the hoops we went through to get him signed. Looks like he is happy to play and give an 18 month contract to a 34 year old guy that was past his best 4 years ago than play younger, creative and exciting players like Erskine and Coulibaly that could still get us out of this carnage!
