  1. What possible reason could you have, on an anonymous football forum, for withholding what team you support? Unless you are indeed a shitebag.
  2. Some absolute nugget scraped my rear bumper when I was parked at the beach recently. The scrapes are very deep and it looks like more work than just a paint touch up. The reflector is also broken. As someone who knows absolutely zip about anything car related, could anyone estimate how much a new bumper would be if it came to that?
  3. Don't concern yourself with 'what if's', going to the Doctor and explaining the situation is the first step (second if you count opening up on here, which I would btw) towards getting back on track. The Doctor will take everything you say on board, including your fears over what 2 weeks off work would do to you. It's clear that you are lacking something to do with yourself outside of work. One option would be to go somewhere else that feels you would be worth full-time hours. If not, maybe some kind of qualification that you can do in your spare time? Failing that (and this may be a non-starter depending on your living situation and whether this is your thing etc) but maybe you could look into the possibility of getting a dog/walking someone else's dog? Working in childcare, you obviously have a caring nature and the responsibility of having a living thing to look after and spend time with would perhaps give you a reason to walk past the pub on your way home from work rather than going in for pints.
  4. When did Cairnryan enter the league?... The Ferry Boys will be after you for that, watch your back.
  5. Tbf (to be boring), Ayr only really have the fate of Falkirk in their hands. The other 3 all have it in their own hands. If Falkirk are winning, they need us to produce something. Whoever is losing at Palmerston will be needing us to produce something also. Our performance level also of course has a direct impact on Alloa. We are the puppeteers here sir, don't you doubt it.
  6. Having the fate of multiple teams resting in our hands is a delicious prospect. Ayr United Under 20's 0-1 Alloa Athletic Falkirk 2-2 Ross County QOTS 1-0 Partick Thistle
  7. Have noticed at Dortmund that, for clubs with a smaller away following, they tend to punt them to the seats in the upper tier and open the away terrace in the lower tier for home fans. Do they do this for H96?
  8. That's fine, but what then? They may and indeed probably will all fight against her, but there's still various major issues to be sorted out with Jon, Daenerys and Gendry having a claim to the throne
  9. Yep, I have indeed m9. The ending that you are suggesting is ludicrously simplistic, as is classing the relationship between them as having 'some tension'. Everyone fights together once more to defeat Cersei, and that's a wrap? So who gets the throne then? Jon or Daenerys? Jaime Lannister has no issue at all fighting against his own sister who is carrying his child? A nice wee friendly compromise to allow Sansa Stark, who openly hates Daenerys, to rule the north in blessed harmony? Having all the survivors fight side-by-side against Cersei would be, frankly, shite.
  10. Not particularly arsed that the Night King and his squad have been papped out, personally far more interested to see what happens now that the winning army has no common enemy left to fight. What we're left with is essentially various temporary allies who no longer find themselves under the same banner, and have gone back to being enemies. It is a bit of an underwhelming ending to the White Walkers, but as people have already said, some ludicrous swordfight with the Night King would have been significantly worse and out of character.
  11. Failing to make the Play-offs having been genuine Title Contenders going into March would be a complete failure, regardless of whether our pre-season aims have been achieved.
  12. Not easy games to get tickets for. Tends to be easy enough to get Dusseldorf tickets, but as with any other club, it's different when it's Bayern. Koln v Hamburg will not go to public sale, so you're looking at c**ts on Viagogo etc if you want tickets for that.
  13. Jump on one of the buses down to Southend to see Jack Ross's Red and White Wizards lift the League One trophy*
  14. With Hannover having already played the new manager card and still being absolutely f***ing stinking, it's hard to see them playing Bundesliga football next season. Other teams that have looked equally rank at times (Augsburg, Mainz, Stuttgart) have also shown they are capable of pulling results out the bag, but aside from beating 10-man Nurnberg at home, Thomas Doll doesn't seem to have improved anything at H96.
  15. There's a Hertha club shop in the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) and you can buy tickets there. If you buy a WelcomeCard for your trip, show them that at the shop and you get discount on the tickets.
  16. Saw that. Just evidences the farce that VAR brings. It really isn't an improvement to the game at all. Looks a fantastic ground though, very well suited to the club in terms of size.
  17. Not having this 'she was a child' argument. Fifteen years of age is comfortably old enough to decipher what is right and what is wrong. Her journey to Syria was around the same time as IS were parading the severed heads of innocent foreign aid workers. If, at fifteen, you do not realise that is absolutely barbaric behaviour and a place to be avoided, then you are frankly a f***ing idiot.
  18. The OP's profile says he's an Airdrie fan. Aye the new badge has seen nothing but success so far, so if it continues to bring us such luck I have no issue with being one of the circular crowd!
  19. If East Fife were to be reported, the Lord Lyon would be 'required' to investigate and I am sure you would be hit with the same absolute pish as we were. One thing to bear in mind though is the cost to the club. Ayr United had a shop full of merchandise with the old crest on it and were forced to sell it off for pennies because, once we hit a certain date, we were no longer legally allowed to sell it.
  20. So the only thing that differentiates Queen of the South's 'unstinting failure' and your club's fortunes is the fact you finished 4th out of 10 and were effortlessly swept aside by Dundee United in the Quarter Final. Thanks for clarifying.
  21. Ah yes, Queen of the South's record of 'unstinting failure' which, shockingly enough, almost precisely mirrors your own club's. Or maybe mid-table mediocrity is seen as a something of a success for wee Morton? It's fine though, we'll just recycle the Ainsley Harriott meme for the 1000th time and gloss right over the facts.
