  1. Imagine writing the job description for what's actually been achieved by the new manager.
  2. The difference can be summed up by the fact that a CEO with zero footballing knowledge appointed a charlatan. Again
  3. For reference see previous matches Dundee v Kilmarnock and St Johnstone v Dundee. Miller has it seemed adopted a general no shooting policy.
  4. So it'll be season after next we play them then probably?
  5. Hasn't read it ever. I could insert a line here about not hinging about on other team's pages but cannae be arsed. No set of fans has a team and board that deserve to be pointed and laughed at more than us.
  6. Could be amusing if McIntyre or Woods show their faces.
  7. I'm in hospo next week [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
  8. I wonder if anywhere in the world there are fans of a not yet mathematically relegated side who have less faith in their team's ability to get themselves out of the situation?
  9. He did, but Stewart nailed him to the wall straight after, "it's not like it's Hampden, the players are only a couple of feet away," He is so stupid that he dropped himself in it as well though. "it doesn't seem to matter who we play there, whoever is there the same things keep happening." That's because it's your fault Jim. What a dick.
  10. If that is true then as fans we could probably sue the board for acting against the best interests of the club[emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
  11. We'll never know. For me it comes more down to what McIntyre seemed to want, you're quite right that there was no point keeping him if he was just going to sulk on the bench, but if we could have got out of him what Killie have managed to get out of a player in exactly the same situation it would certainly have helped us considerably. It all had that new broom feel about it, but it hasn't swept us anywhere better.
  12. Fair dos, so you site a poor performance in a team of folk who had obviously already been told by the new manager that most of them could sling their collective hooks, in a game that was lost inside 5 minutes after we conceded almost from the kick off, if i recall. I sat with my brother for that match, and was astounded at what was on offer, even compared to an already dismal half season's work. You can dress it up any way you like, the new manager obviously wanted wholesale departures to facilitate bringing in the players we have now. Other than Nelson and Wright, both of whom have contributed nothing recently for varying reasons, his replacements, if they've actually managed to kick a ball have combined to put us in a worse position. I don't know what the dynamic was between Kamara and McIntyre, but McIntyre if i recall pretty much said or actually said he wanted him out the door. Fair enough. To replace him with better? Woods, Hadienus, Dales, the list goes on and on. Talk about work ethic, watch the captain and midfield replacement stand and watch while it all crumbles around him game after game. The replacements will with a few exceptions scuttle of back to their parent clubs and try to pretend it never happened at the end of the season. You can purport to have high ideals all you like, you don't fulfil those with a load of loanees who ultimately don't give a hoot.
  13. Don't think I agree with that to be honest. Fair enough 20k is better than 0 but staying up is a lot better than going down. Replacing Kamara with Woods must rank up there with the worst swaps in history. As Patullo points out Woods wasn't even playing since being released by Thistle. Jones remained at Killie and his manager was quite sure he could get a lot out of him in the interim. If as the article says Kamara would have seen out his deal then a well managed Kamara vs Woods managed by his old mate is a pretty stark contrast in the quality available to the side.
  14. Point by point relevant and accurate. Look at the situation Kilmarnock were in before appointing SC and now. Decent candidates were obviously out there if there was a professional process undertaken. To appoint someone who comes as a package with a guy who the fans will never accept is incompetence bordering on negligence. It also gives the appointed manager a get out of jail free card. He doesn't have his sidekick so his hands were tied. Imagine one of us wandered over the Atlantic and started making decisions about the sporting progress of an American Football (not soccer) Club. Couldn't see that working out too well.
  15. Aye fair dos. I couldn't go to the game so my recollection is from the radio. The thing i remember is the commentators saying his good they looked after we scored. Much in the vein of "there's only one team going to win this now, and that's...."
  16. Think you're right, but sort of knew he'd miss. Should have scored from open play. Pretty similar to the chance in Perth a few weeks ago. Unable to convince himself to use his left and thinks too much.I remember listening to the first game, 1 up and supposedly coasting, playing good stuff and looking like a slick outfit according to the pundits. Missed penalty and Hamilton had his melt down and the season has been continual shit ever since.
  17. I admire your positivity. The prospect of the Championship excites me about a much a the thought of Ann Widdecombe in a bikini. Almost every time we've gone it's strangled the club, sometimes to the edge of extinction. Much as this season and last have been abysmal I fear similarly abysmal afternoons at Dens if McIntyre remains against the fellow also rans. It is a brutal league with a brutal effect on a club the size of Dundee. It gives me the fear.
  18. I remember going to see primary school football Cup finals in there when i was at St. Peter and Paul's in the 70s. Like a swarm of bees chasing the ball around.
  19. The people who and process by which they appoint the managers is the problem. "How d'ye want the room done pal?" "I'll save a bit on the plastering and let the decorator buy the most expensive paint we can afford. It'll look great." "wa's fell doon again bud, maybe you should plaster it properly?" "No man, I'm sure this time the expensive paint will hold it up." "Fair enough pal, I'll send in the next shite plasterer, looks a bit dodgy like, his mate is carrying the buckets hung ower his lugs."
  20. What is the record for consecutive defeats in this league?
  21. Still there then [emoji853][emoji853][emoji853].
  22. I'm beginning to think that our perpetual shiteness is some sort of super- infection which unless everyone involved including the management up to Nelms' level is binned will be passed on by and through any remaining nae-users.
