I see the lowland league fixtures are out today and notice they’ve all got a double header with ther local rivals on Boxing Day and then a week later the fixture reversed on jan 2nd,I’ve said before this would be a great idea,imagine 2 games in a week v rovers,home and away,although it would be Falkirk this season

How solid was John Mitchell at left back,full of energy for a guy in his 30’s,Marshall must’ve kicked upfield about 30 times and did anyone else think how similar the terracing on the left was to ours at the bayview bar end

For any older east Fife fans like myself,I see Falkirk tv are showing the full game Falkirk v east Fife from 1986,i travelled thru with the late Mel sword,it was the last game of the season and we fought back to draw 2-2 and they needed a point to go up and wer shitting themselves,if results went for us that day we or even Forfar could’ve went up to the premier league
