  1. Where do all the stereotypes hang about in the Glasgow unions? Granted I don't spend much time in either of them but whenever I've been in I've never noticed either being full of a particular type of person.
  2. Just bought tickets for this. First time seeing them live, really looking forward to it.
  3. Does anyone know the number of the bus that goes from the Clarkston area to West Street (I think) subway station?
  4. A Million Ways to Die in the West - 1/10 Awful, just awful. I'm a fan of Seth MacFarlane's work in general but this was absolutely terrible. It did look shite from the trailers tbf so I didn't feel particularly disappointed, only went to see it to kill a couple of hours on a rainy day. The only funny part was
  5. The guy who tweeted it seemingly isn't the one who took the picture, he just shared it for retweets. The part about being disqualified from taking exams for five years is made up. I don't know who actually took the picture.
  6. Telling 20 Irish Celtic fans to 'go home' was not a wise move on his part.
  7. I didn't ask, I was too absorbed in the romance of it all.
  8. Tonight I was drunkenly told by P&B's Sampfan101, also known as Marc 'VL' Wallace, about the time he lost his virginity. It was the first time I'd met him and it was a beautiful story.
  9. Had this in my Accounts exam on Tuesday. It's split into two questions worth 40% each and one question worth 20%. It's anyone's guess what the 20% one could be but the two 40% ones were always the same in past papers, class tests and tutorial exercises just with different numbers. This year they decided to change one entirely to a question that had never come up before and, consequently, one that hardly anyone had studied for. Didn't know how to answer it, costing me and quite a few others 28% of the overall grade.Should still pass barring a disaster in my other answers but yeah, that was pretty brutal.
  10. Full video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cIkMfO5lo8&t=4m35s Kicks off around 4:35. "I beat her ass though so it's okay. She did not get one hit on me." After being floored by a fucking shovel
  11. One of my mates put this up last night: Followed by this:
  12. Think it cost me about £30. The price varies depending on how much you need to get done and I had a pretty bad blockage so I don't know how how that compares to the average cost.
  13. I've never had mine syringed but I was told it can be quite sore. There's a company who travel around the Scotland (the Hearing Clinic I think they're called) who have a machine which sucks the wax out of your ears using a sort of vaccum. Completely painless and I'd definitely recommend it over syringing, though the downside is you have to pay for it.
  14. I've largely given up on WWE now. The product is abysmal considering the talent at their disposal. Will likely give up entirely after this year's predictably shite Wrestlemania, they've already cunted up the main event and are well on their way to fucking up the best thing they've had in years in Daniel Bryan.
  15. Glasgow. It's not me who'd be staying in them so that stuff isn't really of my concern. I'll pass along all the reviews to my flatmate and let him do his own research into it. Was just checking to see if there was a general consensus on whether Unite are any good. Cheers for all the replies guys.
  16. Has anyone on here ever stayed in accommodation run by Unite? One of my flatmates in halls is considering it for next year but is a bit unsure about what they'd be like.
  17. Got my Psychology result today, only to then get an email saying that, due to an administrative error, a number of the published results are incorrect and that the corrected grades will be published soon. f**k sake.
  18. Checked my email there and saw that Edward Snowden is one of the nominees to be the new rector at Glasgow Uni. I've got absolutely no idea what the rector does and have no intention of voting in the election, but nominating one that wouldn't be in Glasgow at any point during his term? Fucking great idea, no doubt from one of Glasgow's numerous private-school 'radicals'.
  19. I enjoyed it a lot more second time around. My main criticism of it would be the way it's marketed; the description and trailer made it seem like it would be more of an action film than it was. I spent the entire first viewing waiting for the car chases/shootouts/whatever to start and ended up feeling pretty disappointed when none of that materialised. Once you know what to expect and can enjoy it for what it is though it's an excellent film.
  20. Is there anywhere that does highlights of the three Scottish lower leagues in the same format that SFL TV used to do of showing them all as one show?
  21. Seems that his foray into MMA went well.
