Oops , Lammers.
But would there have been "offside interference" if he'd put it in the net?

Pleasing.
Bit late on here as I was reading the entire match thread on RM.
My tears of mirth have now dried.

I'm reading it for the first time. (I started at the end for some reason and IMO it would have been better if the last few dozen pages had been accidentally lost when being moved . I thought I had jumped threads)

I don't like cricket. Oh no. I do like England moaning about losing. Oh yes.

The "nomadic people thought to have come from what is now Kazakhstan" and now berthed south of the Clyde, over on rangersmedia, are very unhappy.
No surprise there , but they seem to think that a clear-out of most of the existing players would result in Beale being able to draft in a squad of world (well, Celtic)-beaters in their place. I don't know how much money Rangers have to spare but it seems unlikely.
However, I did see the word 'aesthetic' used in relation to Ryan Kent . Obviously the more refined (!) stay at home fans commenting. No doubt the tone will deteriorate when the knuckle draggers return home from the match.

Hang it in the Louvre
That was a real 'Roy of the Rovers' type goal. 'Greegsy' is taking flak 'over there' but it's a lovely bit of football to witness. The type of goal that would have grown with the telling back in the day before televised games.
Having said that, it would have probably been ruled offside back then...

What a turnaround in that second half.
Goodwins team played prettier stuff but they would have folded there.
Scales best game in a Dons shirt. All of them were class in the second half.
Was on a promise tonight but I think I'll browse rangers media instead.
Here's a taster.
not one of that Aberdeen team would get a game for Rangers yet we lost 2-0. shocking

My second Dons v Rangers match - https://afcheritage.org/matches/fixtures/mreport.cfm?fixture_id=2701&season=1965-66&squad=Senior
It went a wee bit downhill after that, tbf.
However, today's result
Wonderful, just wonderful!
Really Granda? I found this stat. But maybe you didn't witness the games.
In all three of the Dons' title wins in the 80s, they went undefeated against Rangers. During Ferguson's eight-year reign he only lost four League games to them, winning 17 and drawing 12.

Enjoyed that result.
According to many Rangers Media types, the second goal was offside and VAR is shite,
I remember them orgasming over its arrival. Be careful what you wish for.
Maybe Aberdeen and Hearts can stretch R&C next season. I hope so.

Celtic’s MOTM in that picture, next to Barisic.
From RM
We've won every Old Firm Clancy has refereed.
Oh well, that's his record broken.
As an aside, on RM the whining is unbelievable. Their team is better than every other in Scotland bar one, they are in a cup semi and they do nothing but whinge about how shite their players are.
'Entitled' doesn't cover it. Just what do they want? ( I know, I know. )
Would they actually be happier, sitting mid-table, if Celtic were near bottom?

Depends which T you’re meaning as the one ending in G is a widely recognised derogatory term for an Irish catholic.
Ah. Soz. I was thinking of t
he otheranother one. Ends wif an em.ETA maybe there are others. I'll have a look on the Rangers' fan sites. No filters there, just unabated hatred.

It’s unsure exactly where, both of those mentioned along with Birmingham and Sunderland.
They had the monicker before that. I presumed it was the loyalty to the German descended monarchy, but I suppose we will never know for sure.
If it's marauding violent types, , then 'Orcs' sould be banned as well. Personally I think Orcs is more apt.
I don't understand why the T word is banned for Sellick fans, they use it themselves, quite proudly. Maybe just a balancing act.
Next thing you know, we can't call Dundee Utd fans 'Arabs'. Or Jags fans 'effete , West-end luvvies'.
It's PC gone mad.

My whereabouts for however long aren't relevant. There's a rubber-walled resource for the OF partners to shout at each other like Eastenders characters, and this thread isn't in it.
Dedicated OF threads in the main bit make it look untidy and downmarket.
OK, I'll say it.
Ht's point was, there is no OF. Old Rangers died.
The 'main bit' would look a lot more untidy if the R&C fans were on here.
This thread is an example, it has quickly wandered away from discussion of the actual upcoming match, as in players, tactics, etc
No, sorry, I've just read the whole tread. There has been NO 'football' discussion at all.
I'll just add some more clutter, from Rangers media. It will never end. Not until at least one of them dies. Without being resurrected. (topical, eh?)
We've won every Old Firm Clancy has refereed.
graeme_4 replies: Might have, but the c**t absolutely tried to cheat us out of the 2-1 win at their midden. Will never be convinced otherwise.
esquire8 replies: Oh definitely. As p*pish as it comes. Still like to continue that trend though

Apropos of nothing, I happened to read this piece of misinformation on the West Ham website.
"Warburton led Brentford to the EFL Championship Play-Offs and Rangers to the Scottish Premiership title before most recently enjoying three productive seasons at Queens Park Rangers, culminating in a top-half Championship finish last term."
Stevie Gee won't like that. Shows how much attention is paid to R&C outside Scotland.

'Ben' meaning, I think, 'go through to' as in "go ben the kitchen and put some toast on".
I knew it as 'ben the hoose' relating to another, indeterminate, room.
I believe it's from 'but and ben', as in The Broons' country cottage. 'Ben' was the living room, 'but' was the kitchen.

My wee boy's first game was Denmark. Since then been to Ireland, Cyprus and last night. He's 4-0 and strolled out of Hampden last night begging me to take him to Germany!
It's going to be a tough come down for these lads at some point in the future!
I'm 70 and want to go to Germany. Take me! I won't greet when we lose. (much)
