  1. Kevin Kyle has held talks with Rangers over a possible free transfer move.

The former Hearts striker, who has been training with St Johnstone, expressed an interest in joining the prospective Third Division side earlier this week.

STV understands the Scotland international met with club officials on Friday, as he looks to continue his career.

Kyle, 31, has struggled with a chronic hip injury which sidelined him for more than a year.

It is understood former Hibernian keeper Graham Stack is also keen on moving to Ibrox, having left Easter Road in the summer.

Speaking earlier this week, Kyle said he was keen to sign for Rangers, if they are given Scottish FA membership.

“The physio I am working with knows a few people in football and I asked him if he could get an agent pal to speak to Rangers for me," he said.

“I wouldn’t cost the earth and, at the same time, Ally McCoist would know what he was getting.

"I would certainly be more than capable of doing a job for them and it might not be as stressful on my body playing in the Third Division.

“I’ve heard nothing back but it’s something I might pursue if nothing happens at St Johnstone.”

I liked this bit, "“I wouldn’t cost the earth and, at the same time, Ally McCoist would know what he was getting."

Aye, a player with a chronic hip injury which has sidelined him for over a year!!! Just the thing you need when up against the type of tackling that would put Senegal to shame. biggrin.gif

I think Kyle would be perfect for rangers. He famously said he's prepared to dive and cheat to win. A marriage made in govan methinks

  2. I was saying to a guy at 5s that "i assume the SFA is closed at the weekend and sevco will need their license by close of business tomorrow, is this true?

Nah, I seem to recall meetings and fone calls of various people involved taking place on saturdays. Well in as far as NBC website reported the story in a Saturday evening saying so and do told so and so such and such this afternoon ie SATURDAY. I was very surprised about it myself but there u go.

  3. I generally use Sevco or "TCFKAR" on Facebook and the likes, although the reaction thus far has been disappointing, with no death threats, offers of a punch in the puss or anything. Poor show, quite frankly.

They were happy enuff when they were winning all the illegitimate trophies so it follows they should face the downside too

I did have an amusing argument with some daft bint on the local paper's Facebook page who thought it was all so unfair as the poor innocent Rangers fans were suffering through no fault of their own. I found that quite fun.

  4. They must be absolutely bricking it that 0.001% of their customers might, possibly be thinking about not shoplifting their game.

I'm old enough to have been buying FIFA games every year since mid 90s and im pretty sure they won't include sfl3 anytime soon to put the cheats in. If and when the cheats return to the spl they will be included in the game on MERIT ( something the stale bun supporters don't seem to care much about ) and all the pissy little boycotts and feet stamping hissy fits only serves to further disgrace your team.

Not you happybuddie lol I mean the op in the FIFA forum

  5. Spent the last 20 mins trying to write how angry I am that this embarrassment continues. Failed. Could not articulate. I just hate them so much. Not just for being them. Not just for cheating. Not just for arguing about the oh so lenient sanctions being negotiated. FUCKING NEGOTIATED? But because they have no sense of what is around them. No understanding of the damage they continue to wreak upon the nation that houses them. And no sense of shame. No desire to move on for the greater good. No comapssion, no contrition, no humility.

Fucking hate the fucking fuckers man. I really fucking do.

When when you get off the fence and have an opinion feel free to share it lol :)

  6. My take on it is that Green has looked at the EBT/Dual Contracts issue and thought f**k we could be up shit creek here with no even a hint of a paddle.

Better try and get this buried rapid

    That's my point.

And also FFS imagine asking NOT to be investigated its like the polis seeing an arm hanging out your boot and you agree to keep to the speed limit providing they agree not to open the boot.

I will literally spew up if green gets his way with the whole world watching waiting to judge Scottish football

  7. Haha. :D

So McCoist won't do walking away and won't do trophy stripping! What an arrogant wee man he has turned out to be. I used to have a lot of respect for him, but he has turned out just like all the rest.

These "negotiations" have been going on for a week or more. What the hell are they talking about? They will start as The Rangers in Division 3. They will accept the transfer embargo as they would be expelled otherwise. They cannot walk away from their footballing debts inherited from RFC. Therefore the punishments if found guilty of duel contracts stand. There you are, sorted in under a minute. So can someone please tell me what they are negotiating over?

I dunno mate but they're doin it and they've been doin it for ages and I have this nagging feeling that when all the dust settles we're all going to feel rather short changed and like the cheats have gotten off lightly.

As I say, I hope I'm wrong but iv been around a long time, too long to expect rangers to be given their JUST desserts

  8. IMO, there will be an agreement that any punishment will not direct affect Sevco (financial or suspension). I'm quite sure title stripping will still be on the cards.

I hope your right but green has said he's fighting for the INVESTIGATION to be scrapped not for sevco to be cleared

It also quotes coists refusal to accept stripping statement.
