The list is a long one, couldn't imagine being a Catholic in Drongan with a union jack on every lamp post during marching season.
Iv spent a couple of decades living in glasgow and now a little Ayrshire village near Patna and One thing that's always really struck me the hatred and dislike the glasgow watp dudes have for the " wannabe " Ayrshire watp dudes.
The really weird part is how TOTALY oblivious the Ayrshire folk are of how the glasgow mob perceives them ????

Celtic didn't lose titles for abusing children
Words fail me!
Apart from anything else, the Celtic boys club in question had nothing to do with Celtic.
A couple of glasgow guys just started a kids team and named it the Celtic boys club.

Stripping titles.
I know this has been discussed before but adding my view.
Initially I thought stripping titles from Rangers was enough. I didnt think the titles should then be awarded to the runners up. Being told St Mirren had now won the league cup in 2010 would be completely flat.
However, given the attitude from Rangers fans that they will continue to claim their 'victories', I've now had a change of mind. All cups should be awarded to the runners up as a 3-0 result. The re-written league tables should show Rangers with a 30 points deduction for cheating. Removing their titles isnt enough, they should be seen as having 'lost' them. Show them as losers in every competition they cheated in. Record them as losers in the history books for ever.
This would be far more embarrassing and far more humiliating for them. A far more just punishment.
Amen brother ????

Rangers to be stripped of 5 titles and 4 Scottish Cups. What about the prize money, which no-one has mentioned. This should be added to their debt.
WHAT ABOUT ME LOSING MONEY AT THE BOOKIES IN MORE THAN ONE OF THOSE TROPHIES LISTED ????
I'm out of pocket from losing bets That by rights i should have won

Dunno !
I've seen them also at the Marriot and Hilton Hotels in the Glasgow City Centre.
The gazeebos are for Olympic security teams. At Hamden as its a venue and at hotel as one of the teams must be staying there

I'm miles behind the pace here but in case this hasn't been answered here goes ...
f**k all.
They have cheated for 20 years. They are potentially £100m in debt. They have been liquidated. They are trying to re-start as a new club. They should join the queue. I've always hated Rangers (see Cunto Regan and tribalism). Nothing has changed in that regard. Them not being part of Scottish football whether as oldco or newco suits me fine. f**k them. However, if they are part of it - and they will be - then they need to play to the same rules as the rest of us. No fuckin parachutes. Start like the rest have started. Everyone else will just need to cut cloth to suit.
Amen Brother.

Regan cockwomble and their like must realise that fans are the game without us they are nothin, clubs with paying fans are the difference between proffesional sport and amatures on a park playin to a few dozen family and friends.
what ever happened to that buisness saying"THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!" they need to listen to us, all of us as we are simply not prepared to pay for a product which we are not satified with. we want to watch our respective teams play football in a league competition where performance is rewarded and the breaking of rules is punished accordingly, as soon as you use monetory implications to make special cases for any team involved in wrongdoing then it ceases to be a competetive football league and becomes football entertainment. like WWE.

Your right of course, but it's in this country's nature to not take a stand, mp,s steal, banks corrupt, factory's move and kill a town
And we all moan and wave our fingers at our keyboards but take NO real action.
Sadly I think everyone will attend matches as blindly as ever before, fooling themselves into believing they are watching a genuine competition.

Fair enough, and man of you to confirm it here.
Equally I don't imagine you'll get that many folk joining you, risking as it is arrest, a criminal record and related punishment, and a football banning order.
All wee need to do is pick a few games to all turn up to but NOT pay into, just stand outside and protest peacefully.

I'm soooooo ashamed of my club right now.
If Killie did abstain without a good ( still to be revealed ) reason
Then I CAN'T go back to rugby park till mj leaves.
I can't really take it in and can't imagine what I would do on a Saturday instead.

I'm actually shocked at the pish Neil Doncaster just spouted on Stv news.
What a fucking liar

Why are you so obsessed with our debt? What about dundee utd's debt or hearts'?
Killie messed up chasing the impossible dream plus believing the sfa when they hinted they could put the off international friendly their way if there ground was big enough.
Now that bubbles burst and reality has bitten deeply. It's a struggle for us to survive year on year but so far the club are scraping by and doing it the honest way. This threads not about clubs in debt from chasing a dream it's about one club that rather kicked the arse out of it , chasing a champions league dream with dubious financial practices THAT'S a very different area entirely.

And that could as easily happen whether a TV contract includes a renegotiation clause or not.
I know , all I said was the sky contract is evidence that this would happen, of course it could still happen without sky being around , no one suggested otherwise. We seem to be having an argument here even though we don't actually disagree on anything :-0

I don't. If Sky-ESPN want the clause... i.e. they'll pay less if it doesn't exist... give them it. It doesn't override the SPL rules and it doesn't try to. If Celtic finished 12th and Hibs 11th they can't relegate Hibs, nor deny promotion to someone eligible.
Sigh. No but they could and now seemingly WOULD say " erm right emergency reconstruction lads, no relegation this year and 2 teams will be promoting to give us a wonderfully exciting league of 14 "
THAT'S the point. The rules may SAY its the same for all but in reality, it's not.

Here ya go have a wee look at this web page on the SKY deal and is pretty detailed !
Good link hellbhoy, to save folk time I have taken the liberty of cutting and pasting a quote from it
"Therefore the thought that Rangers leaving the SPL would decimate Scottish football is a fallacy. A handful of teams would lose in the region of £200k to £300k over 3 years, the rest bar Celtic would near enough break even."
It's what we all knew , except for the daily record and the blue order.

All they said about the Sky deal was how impossible it was to get any information about it.
Not quite. I heard the bit you ate referring to and it was someone saying they found it hard trying to get sky to give a quote re rangers situation.
The bit in referring to was ages before hand

They can, relegation is also outlined perfectly clearly in rules. People seem to think TV has a contract saying they XYZ can't be relegated: they don't. It might say they can renegogiate the deal if they are.
Yes, was trying to get at that but couldn't word it quite right so thank you for being so clear and concise but again although the " rules " may state this that and the other, it seems more and more that IF they finished bottom of the league there would just be emergency reconstruction to keep them in.
In a way then the rules are meaningles in the face of reality

More hearsay and rumour, then. Thanks for that. To be honest I would be surprised if that's what they actually said, as no other posters who have been listening to the radio have referred to it. If I'm wrong, then I apologise, but I would have thought it extremely unlikely the SPL actually could agree to something which they caouldn't guarantee. The chances of either of these two going down may seem slim, but it could never be impossible.
Sadly mate, hearsay and rumour are all any of us have on a forum on a Saturday afternoon when offices are closed for business, that's kind of what forums are for I guess.
I didn't say the contract had to be torn up or anything if the OF arnt there, perhaps there are penalty clauses or fee reductions or something.
Right now I'm more annoyed that no one else seemed to have heard the discussion :-0
I'm now looking round bbc radio Scotland website to find a podcast of the show grrrr

Well, if you can download it, you can upload it for us all to have a look at, or at least post a link. Not that I don't believe you, of course....
To be fair I haven't seen it.
I was just quoting from radio Scotland who were chatting about it around 2:30 pm
I can't believe nobody else heard it.

They are, it's outlined perfectly clearly in the SPL rulebook how the split works.
What I meant was, I had always assumed that if rangers or celtic finished bottom of the league they would be relegated just like everyone else, the current movement amongst governing bodies and sections of the media seem to suggest that if either glasgow side finished bottom of the league they'd simply rejig it to keep them in.
Radio Scotland were saying earlier about sky contracts online but I don't know the link. They also say that season after next ie starting 13 months from now, the clause says simply that rangers and Celtic must be involved but didn't specify a number of fixtures. ( good timing for reconstruction to a larger league playing each other twice then )
But again spl have signed up to this deal assuming the old firm CAN'T be relegated.
Presumably with nothing else to replace 100 hours of tv with next year sky will WANT to continue showing spl because
1 they need to show something
2 they can be seen to be on a moral high ground by continuing the deal without rangers
3 they will negotiate a tidy wee discount.
