Off The Ball nailing it this afternoon regarding the myth that everything will fall apart should 'THE' Rangers be denied entry to the SPL. Somehow i can't see the same being discussed on Sportsound next.

I'm sure the SPL chairmen knew of this reply from the help centre. If not they should be made aware of it.

Excellent post, sir, and yet more proof in the rep given that the vast majority of the posters on here are united in how we feel about these cheats, and the way the custodians of our game condone their behaviour. If neither the SPL or the SFA can grow a pair and finally stake these vampires sucking the life out of OUR game, they can have it. I'm done with the whole sorry, corrupt mess.
Interesting to see many posters on here reporting the replies they've received from their clubs after emailing them - guess what reaponse I've had from Killie? Bugger all, that's what. Six emails and not even an acknowledgment of receipt. Any Killie fans got ANY reaponse from MJ?

If I thought the feeling was strong enuff id get a mob together to march to rugby park and throw last years semi burnt season tickets at him, MAYBE then MAYBE then he will realise there's a downside to voting in the newco fc

Anyone see Michael Johnston's latest this morning in the Retard on the Sky deal. It's predictable stuff but then it ends with "Johnston will vote to admit the Rangers newco into the SPL because he believes they have been punished enough" but stops short of supplying a direct quote from him saying that. I know it's no surprise given his previous statements. If I was a Killie fan I'd be letting him know that I will be walking away from his team. Punished enough! Dearie me.

If he helps scots football lose its integrity he can be sure I WON'T be back at rugby park again. Not so much in protest but because we will have confirmation that the spl is just a non competitive series of meaningless games designed to keep club chairmen in the public eye / making money ( depending on which team you own ).

This was posted on Follow Follow a couple a days ago..The response by the FF faithful was 3 or 4 pages of outrage from the hard done by Rangers supporters.....
A wee bit humility from our support and from those that are speaking on behalf of the club might have gone a long way. Why would any SPL Chairman vote us back in after the online support have repeatedly called for botcotts of all SPL clubs? What would be in it for them? People on here actually believe these clubs will allow us to beam back their home league games so we can all toddle along to Ibrox to watch on the big screens(which we haven't paid for) and give them nothing in return!! They think these clubs will send their U19s along to entertain us on the days our first XI are away from home so we have something to do while we boycott their clubs. Time to get real!!
Reading here and other Rangers forums you would honestly think it was the tax mans fault we are where we are. Rangers will be liquidated tomorrow and there are a few people at fault in this whole sorry saga but wee Hector is not one of them. Sir David Murray for selling the club to that Shyster Whyte. Whyte himself for running the club into the ground whilst not paying any outside contractors and robbing the employees PAYE and NI contributions. The ones who seem to be escaping everybodies wrath are those on the board and employed by Rangers who sat on their hands and said nothing. I knew well into last year that Whyte hadn't paid anybody. If i knew then it is unthinkable those in the background at Ibrox didn't know.
I can understand the supports anger..I was in fucking tears yesterday at what those b*****ds have done to our club. I'll never forget and i will certainly never forgive. But as a support it is time for cool heads and time to take stock of what is actually happening here. It is time to stop looking for conspiracies that don't exist. It is time to point the finger of blame at those who are ultimately responsible.
Yes We Are Rangers. Yes We Are The People...But for how much longer? You carry on fighting the authorities and antagonising every club owner in the country and they will finish us. Make no mistake about it. We have never been in such a vulnerable state in my 40 odd years of follow following.

With so much happening I had almost forgotten that rangers had thrown away a massive lead in the spl and the Ibrox faithful were chanting for ally to be sacked a week later the knuckle draggers are parading around with we don't do walking away tee shirts. ClaimIng mccoist as some kind of God.
The final irony is that he may infact actually DO walking away over the next few days.
I wonder if whyte would have called the administrators in had rangers still been top of the league.

After a year in the spl, newco fc will be called rangers the team that won 9 in a row a century and a half of proud tradition.
The phrase OLD FIRM will still be used statistics like rangers have won 10 out their last 16 visits to pittiodrie ( made up stat btw )
Will be spouted by commentators so AT LEAST by officially stripping some honours their name will remain rightly tarnished forever

In amongst all this legal and directorship stuff I hope someone is still preparing to strip rangers of various cups and titles won during any period of tax scamming.
That's pretty vital if Scotland's to hold it head up on the world football stage

The record today says that sky will pull the plug if newco fc don't keep spl status.
I hope that people are VERY clear that IF newco fc are saved by other spl chairmen who are swayed only by newco fc gate money and sky tv money then football in this country has died on that day.
Can we really continue going to watch football when we have already made a statement which tells the world that no matter what you do, you'll always get to play in the spl if you have a decent sized crowd ?
Maybe fellow sky subscribers should email sky to tell them they won't get another penny from them if they ruin the integrity of our league.
Although perhaps like a honey trap, it would be best to let sky test our collective chairmens resolves.
I suspect however they will be found wanting.

This reconstruction push won't happen in time for the new season.
It's a lifeline for rangers if it does but it won't.
But the fact the sfa have scrambled to give rangers a top flight lifeline worries me, it also worries me that so many folk are happy to bring rangers back in to the top tier in exchange for reconstruction.
One more thing though, did you know you can download a PDF of sky's current broadcasting contracts and it states there must be 4 old firm games a year to make the contract valid.
So the spl signed up to a deal knowing it would be invalid if Celtic or rangers failed to make top 6.
