  1. Are Reece Pearson and Ally Graham still with you guys?
  2. Chris Martin was the right back, very good player IMO.
  3. I was saying the same myself at half time, controlled all of Grainger's switches brilliantly and put in some superb balls. In the second half their number 17 looked great too. Decent team.
  4. Didn't impress me at all, the worst part was that he didn't have a left foot at all. Apparently, however, he is really a centre back, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
  5. This is the exact same situation we were in a few seasons ago when we had Grindlay, Ewings, Gastal and a youth keeper. The way some people are going about it you'd think Ian Murray has committed the crime of the century. I also agree with FifeSons - the slagging of Lumsden won't do him any good.
  6. I imagine Grindlay was warned that we may be signing another keeper and that's why he was reluctant to sign.
  7. If only we had a striker who can link up well with a pacey striker...
  8. Nope. I'm pretty sure a Clyde fan was on here saying he's signed for them.
  9. Fans vs former players for Grindlay's testimonial.
  10. Making Nish number 9 is Ian Murray's best managerial decision to date. I'd imagine Rodgers will come in and going by last night's performance I'd be happy with that.
  11. Really liked the keeper Rodgers, big guy and made some good saves, young too. Campbell looked good out wide. Sutherland came on but didn't get much of the ball.
  12. Trialists were Danny Rodgers, Archie Campbell, Craig Sutherland (remember him?) and Ryan Donnelly. The first 3 played.
  13. 'Derby fixture' added to pre-season. http://www.dumbartonfootballclub.com/news/?mode=view&id=148
  14. I reckon losing Jacko is a bigger loss than some people may think. Murray may bring someone in, or may just stick with Mark Spalding but a senior player like McLaughlin, possibly not Prunty, may be an option.
  15. Is anyone actually aware if he was the big signing?
  16. With the right coaching (Jack Ross and Ian Murray), Ryan Donnelly could be brilliant IMO.
  17. Wouldn't feel confident at all with Van Zanten being our first choice right back, but I'd love to be proved wrong. I'd take Ryan Donnelly in a heartbeat.
  18. Hopefully he's back up to Taggart. Hope this isn't the 'big signing'.
  19. Could take this two ways. Optimistic said 'Megginson sings today' a while ago. He didn't, however he did sign a few days later. I'm going to believe this one just because I want some excitement.
  20. Then again a few seasons ago at CP, an advertising board flew away and almost took Joe Mbu with it.
  21. Surprised no one has mentioned his pace. There aren't many quicker players in Scotland.
  22. If you mean players we offered contracts to, not yet. Although it looks likely we'll lose McGinn and Megginson.
