I was saying the same myself at half time, controlled all of Grainger's switches brilliantly and put in some superb balls. In the second half their number 17 looked great too. Decent team.
Didn't impress me at all, the worst part was that he didn't have a left foot at all. Apparently, however, he is really a centre back, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
This is the exact same situation we were in a few seasons ago when we had Grindlay, Ewings, Gastal and a youth keeper. The way some people are going about it you'd think Ian Murray has committed the crime of the century. I also agree with FifeSons - the slagging of Lumsden won't do him any good.
Making Nish number 9 is Ian Murray's best managerial decision to date. I'd imagine Rodgers will come in and going by last night's performance I'd be happy with that.
Really liked the keeper Rodgers, big guy and made some good saves, young too. Campbell looked good out wide. Sutherland came on but didn't get much of the ball.
I reckon losing Jacko is a bigger loss than some people may think. Murray may bring someone in, or may just stick with Mark Spalding but a senior player like McLaughlin, possibly not Prunty, may be an option.
Wouldn't feel confident at all with Van Zanten being our first choice right back, but I'd love to be proved wrong. I'd take Ryan Donnelly in a heartbeat.
Could take this two ways. Optimistic said 'Megginson sings today' a while ago. He didn't, however he did sign a few days later. I'm going to believe this one just because I want some excitement.
