  1. Andy lost 7-6 7-6 to Lleyton Hewitt in an exhibition match. His last warm up game before Aus Open next week. Is he match fit enough??
  2. I like the books. I like the TV series. I don't view them as linked to one another at all, apart from the character's names.
  3. Definitely defending his Aegon title at Queens before Wimbledon again.
  4. Must watch this again over the holidays. Fab!
  5. I didn't know any of the Harry Potter questions. I haven't read any of the books or seen any of the films! (and don't want to!)
  6. Great episode. So looking forward to next week's now
  7. Apparently some guy has been cycling along the hard shoulder of the M9 in Grangemouth tonight. The Police received numerous phone calls before he was found and removed. What was he thinking??
  8. Some idiot on a bike nearly ran straight into me and the dogs in the park last night. The park is not well lit, but he had no lights on, had earphones in and was texting on his phone so wasn't even looking where he was going! Twat.
  9. Not loving this series. Severe lack of Brody
  10. Perfect day for the slow cooker! Beef stew in today. Beef, onion, mushrooms, stock, thyme, squirt of tom puree.
  11. Finally got round to watching Argo. Excellent! Loved it
  12. Beef ( I had shin but any cheap cut) 1 onion sliced 2 carrots sliced 3 cloves garlic 1 tsp basil 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp garlic powder ( i used garlic salt and missed out the salt) 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp thyme pinch cinnamon pinch chilli flakes 250 ml beef stock 250 ml chhopped tomatoes 1 tbsp tomato puree Bung it all in. Low for 4-6 hours.
  13. Chicken tikka masala Chicken thighs (2 or 3 per person) 3/4 tin coconut milk tin tomatoes 1 tblsp grated ginger 2 garlic cloves 1 onion 2 tsp garam masala 1 tsp ground coriander 1 tblsp palm sugar 1/4 tsp chilli flakes 1/4 tsp salt *It says to sear the chicken with a sprinkling on garam masala but I didn't bother, I just put it straig in with the onion. * melt some oil and butter in a pan and add the ginger and garlic, when it's sizzling add the coconut milk and tomatoes then add all the spices and palm sugar * bung it all in slow cooker. Doesn't need long 4 hours on low. (I reduced the sauce a wee bit to thicken it up at the end) Very tasty! :-)
