If Craig Whyte's floating charge is based on paying off the bank loan with the Ticketus money surely he's dropped himself right in it. If he can't realise £18m for his shares he's left with a share of a CVA or the proceeds of liquidation. I guess he liquidates the company he used to deal with Ticketus and rides off into the sunset though.

At the end of this mess are D&P in danger of litigation from any creditors, given that they could likely have raised £10-£15m by clearing out the players 3 months ago rather than lose them for nothing in 3 weeks time?

Someone has the £3m odd left over from Ticketus, and someone has the £5m odd from the Jelavic deal. Without the tax case Rangers were far from a basket case, they were deliberately steered into admin, and there's a fair chance someone has a fair whack of the £9m odd due HMRC in tax and NI.

Remember the stand up guy gave personal guarantees to get the Ticketus money. I think Mr. Whyte will need the administrators himself shortly, or a good lawyer.

They are currently not a going concern, the administrators need to return them to a position where they are trading in a solvent fashion or liquidate them. They then need to find someone willing to put in enough money to satisfy the creditors, or liquidate them. If HMRC win the big tax case, or Craig Whyte is found to have bought Rangers fraudulently they will have to liquidate them. Chances are they will cheat their way out of it though.
