  1. I found that trying to log into falkirk TV on my phone while abroad it still thought I was in the UK and blocked me. Was fine so long as I was on local WIFI though.
  2. I was a FTV subscriber up until May when my work announced pay cuts, then cancelled. I was a bit miffed at hearing I wouldn't be able to sign up again this year but totally get the argument that it should be no cheaper than a season ticket. I watch every game on FTV as I rarely have the opportunity to get to games and falkirk is a little bit of a trek from here (particularly if I wanted a pint). I spend £156 a year on the subscription so I feel I'm giving the club something they wouldn't otherwise get. I also paid £120 a year for a reliable VPN. So I looked up season tickets earlier today. A season ticket for the South stand is cheaper than I thought at £170 - only £14 more than I would otherwise have paid and if I do make it to a game this season it'll be free! Add on that I'll save on the VPN while the restrictions are in place and its actually cheaper to buy the season ticket. I'll be signing up for one this evening [emoji106]
  3. Could someone tell me how the top up thing works and what does it get you?
  4. I'm optimistic about the direction the club is hoping to move in. Dunno how much of a pain in the ass Shagger Rawlins (that has a real ring to it) ex wife was. Not fussed about that. I am interested in learning about this lad though. Would be good if folk can post links to any stand out chat about him. SR pops up in a number of podcasts. Here's one where he's talking about setting up Orlando City. https://open.spotify.com/episode/7k4ZS2iqRov12OMaySB6QM?si=z_V5HXPmR8OzpCvL903kHg seems he was very hands on in that role. Anyways, as good as all this sounds, When's the football back? Can't wait to see this new team out on the pitch.
  5. I'm with you on that. Yesterday was the first time I'd looked at the P&B app since March. There's a long way to go until there's any chance of Football, so I may go back into hibernation again.
  6. Always sorry to see players being released but particularly at this time. Difficult for them. I loved Doyle's energy and enthusiasm. He was decent defensively. However, his passing was poor, his crossing was worse and he never seemed to be on the same wavelength as others about when he should overlap. Buchanan must be gutted, but he wasn't great. Gary Miller looks much better suited to being captain. We'll surely miss Longridge. He's probably not cheap though. Hopefully there's plans afoot for McManus. The rest, meh. Our team from last season would have held its own in the championship. IF we get there, if hope we could improve on that team. Watching re-runs f the yogi and Houston years has just served to highlight how much better footballers those teams had.
  7. The current site has highlights back to 2010, but I think that's only from when they moved to the new website and YouTube. They used to have a subscription service for £4.99 a month which included full re-runs of particularly good games. I had a subscription to it back in my student days, so 2007 and earlier. Not sure they did much live streaming in those days, but my knowledge of free proxies is such that they must have done sometimes.
  8. McHugh should be saved for the super sub appearance. Hibs definately the better team at the end of the half. Watson & McCracken being beaten by Keatings in the air is poor, although generally it's refershing to see centre backs stopping the ball from bouncing.
  9. Really living this aren't you Hibs had done f**k all up to that stage. Disappointing to be 2-1.
  10. The quality of play is night and day from recent seasons. First touch, speed, passing just on a different level.
  11. Game day. Who's watching? I kinda remember what happens in this game but can I just say, no spoilers.
  12. Had a wee google for precedents. The 2019 season in Chile finished 6 games early due to social unrest. The team at the top of the Premier division were named champions. There was no promotion or relegation from other leagues and the team at the top of thier championship were not named champions of that league. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/world/chile-protests-chilean-primera-division-universidad-catolica-latest-update-champions-league-season-a9227411.html
  13. The issue of the 3pm Saturday blackout is an easy one to get around. If there's no fans there, just make all games 12:30 or 5:15 kick offs. Can't see games going ahead though, even behind closed doors.
  14. Thankfully for us it's not up to boris and the stiff upper lip Dunkirk spirit and all that lot.
  15. Word seems to be that scottish schools will be closed by this time next week.
  16. It won't make a significant difference I think its the exact phrasing. Lots of events have emergency services standing by and further, like this weekend's OF game for example, require further significant resource to deal with the fall out after.
  17. Who's gonna be playing when half of the British teams are in quarantine? Maybe you could watch LaLiga, Serie A instead?
  18. No, boris hasn't done similar, yet. I reckon he places a similar value on human health as you though. To answer someone else, no games cancelled this weekend as there is no need to reduce the load on front line services this weekend. That's in the post though, hence taking the decision now so people can get organised.
  19. Certainly better than the standard podcast fayre of folk cracking shit jokes and thier pals finding them hilarious. Keep us posted on any more falkirk related chat [emoji106]
