  1. I'm not a fan of them, but that was an advert for plastic pitches. The pitch certainly was a leveller. We didn't deal with it at all well. The full backs were strangely absent in an attacking sense today. The Stranraer defender with the Italian name did well and was thier best player. We seemed to get caught sleeping a few times today, particularly at thier goal where Dixon was posted missing and the two CBs did f**k all. Very disappointing result.
  2. Job done so far. Glad we got the goal. I expect its to be comfortable in the second half with the wind assist. The pitch is in a right 2&8. Even Gomis is struggling to control the ball on the deck. One good save by mutch so far after a long ball, which they won't be able to do second half. As said above, good build up for the goal, particularly from Todd who has been about our best player. Roll on the second half and hopefully a second goal. That would kill off any danger from Stranraer IMO.
  3. The pitch is really cutting, but connolly's first touch has deserted him today. Thankfully he had an age to get the ball under control and smash it home. [emoji3]
  4. This is like playing spot the ball. Was the cameraman on back shift yesterday? Gonnae zoom in a wee bit too, please?
  5. I coughed up for tunnel bear. Works great. Make sure you're not logged into FTV on another device which isn't on the VPN (your phone for example) as it will pick that up and block you. Much swearing before I worked that one out and downloaded the tunnel bear phone app. Used to use free ones back in the day and those worked fine, but when I started up my subscription again this season I found all the old ones were crap.
  6. Was Gary Miller not outwith the transfer window? Like buaben, was well off the pace when he arrived, but he's one of the first names on the team sheet for me.
  7. I assume that if we hit a bad run of injuries etc we could hit the panic button and recall Leitch and Denny?
  8. Has good technique. There's a player in there, but he just has to figure out how to turn it into productive footballing. Hopefully some first team action at Forfar will help. Far and away the best moment of his falkirk career so far was his cheeky chipped goal against Berwick in the betfred.
  9. Just spotted on twitter that st mirren have a maroon away top this season. That's our quarter final opponent sorted.
  10. Are there any others left in the cup? A dodgy away strip maybe?
  11. I made a big thing of getting the kids to bed in time for the football. Feel I kinda have to watch the second half. I'll say it now. Robbie mutch loves a penalty save.
  12. He's picking up a wage while mostly injured. Injections to get him through games if called upon hopefully
  13. Can a square go be organised between marshmallo and Bairnardo please? Most importantly, could that person also start a new thread for all related discussion? I generally agree with a lot both post, but the squabbling is tedious as f**k.
  14. If Bowie was a falkirk player I'd be raging at the thought of selling him for £100k. The lad clearly has a bright future, disasters aside. We got £100k for Tony gallagher getting a run out in a cup game for Liverpool f**k it, if that's what he's going for falkirk should buy him!
  15. Having Miller back for this will be a big boost for our midfield. Him and Gomis in there would be solid and would let Gomis go forward and unleash his left peg. Todd looked decent on Saturday. Better on the highlights than I thought at the time. I'd play him on the right and Louis up front with McManus. With Doyle and Dixon getting thier crossing act together of late and with connolly and Todd on the wings I'd be tempted to try to find a space for MacMillan getting onto those crosses, but Louis in the team is a must for me so either Todd or sammon drop out. It'll be another tough game, but I'm confident we can get a result and really looking forward to it. The kids will be getting punted off to bed sharpish.
  16. The man in quick fit seemed to know his stuff. I mean, he knew what was wrong with the tyres by using his foot alone. Nothing will go wrong there. I've not paid attention to the wafer Cup since we donated our entry to our fife brethren (allowed us to concentrate on the league at that time) but if you draw a team from across the water can you see about getting a deal to tarmac the road in, please?
  17. Ah, with you. We expected well draining sandy soil, this being the league it is. That's been our mistake and upgrading the tyres and driver has taken some time.
  18. I was assuming that was airdrie fans with thier Union jackery. (don't be mistaken by the username) We don't drive land rovers. Only high speed 18 wheelers #juggernaut
  19. It's unfortunate Forfar choose a tractor access only location. Yous have had long enough to sort out the landscaping by now. Is there still a creepy east fifer mooching around the garden?
  20. Do you guys mind if I come in to take some measurements? Best to be prepared and that
