  1. I can see my primary school in that photo. Right next to Craigie Park, which was was Ayr United's training pitch at the time.
  2. Employers are permitted to bring staff back on a part-time basis while still keeping them on furlough for part of the week. As for your second point they'll be off furlough before October, probably mid to end of August and certainly by the beginning of September. In that respect it won't be different to any other pre-season.
  3. Sounds a bit like the Tynecastle of the 80s (apart from ejecting folk for signing sectarian songs).
  4. The free weekend at the end of November is for the Betfred Cup 2nd Round.
  5. They spent their money on some new seats. A very sensible decision.
  6. Trogdor is correct in his calculations. It's a 25% increase since £4 is 25% of £16. That is how you work it out, not by using the end figure.
  7. I seem to remember it was a fairly soft red. Just remembered the Hibs right back we signed a couple of years later, at the same time as Hughes and McGinlay. Michael Renwick was as about bad as Prendervile. And didn't last much longer.
  8. Prenderville was Irish but his previous club was Coventry. We signed him after he had a loan spell at Hibs. He didn't play many games for us, the only thing I can remember about him was being sent off at Love Street for a push. Rogers had a couple of seasons at Dens before signing, although seemingly he had trained with us before signing for Dundee. It's fair to say as a player he was a bit of a journeyman.
  9. Think of the positive things that came out of that game - the regular scudding of teams the following season .
  10. He played in that game as well, then missed the entire 87-88 season through injury.. I think he was only 21 at the time of the Stirling game.
  11. I think a lot of it is to do with Allan Moore scoring a hat-trick of headers against him for St Johnstone. That conveniently ignores the fact that all these 6 foot defenders couldn't win aerial challenges against a guy five or six inches smaller.
  12. Did he not save a penalty on his debut at Cappielow? It was all downhill after that. A very steep descent.
  13. Not sure where, but Ayrshire as far as I know. Nice guy, hands like shovels.
  14. No. He goes along from time to time, often with Jim Fleeting. Speak to him sometimes in the Wee Windaes.
  15. No, because I don't recall him ever saying that was the reason for wanting a bigger too flight. What he has said is that playing other teams 4 times a season (with the potential to play up to 10 matches in the one season against another team) is dull. And it is. So you can speculate that that is the reason Lachlan wants an expanded top flight, but you can't state it as fact.
  16. I can't be bothered with a debate and won't be getting into one. Anyway, the Sandra Boyak you refer to is Sarah Boyack.
  17. No they didnt. The original Heathfield application was refused by the Scottish Executive. The second one was approved by the council.
  18. I can see the MP for Kilmarnock and Loudoun in that photo
  19. Maybe I'm missing something, but which part of the Kilmarnock away kit would clash with the Rangers home kit?
  20. He did. He broke his arm (I think). He still played 17 times. I'm sure Stranraer also re-signed Andy Stirling after Leon went on loan.
  21. As mentioned above it's Drew Jarvie. I don't think Drew Busby ever played for Aberdeen.
