  1. But if only 990 season tickets are used for that game the season ticket holder attendance is 990.
  2. I have no idea. Maybe it's ego like the Old Firm, who count season tickets in their attendances even when they haven't been used. If you've ever been to the grounds formerly known as Victoria Park and Caledonian Stadium you'll know what I mean when I suggest they over report.
  3. I'm very sceptical that the attendances reported by Ross County and Inverness accurately reflect the number of people who actually come through the turnstiles. I've heard it said that Ross County issue loads of tickets to local schools and then count them, whether they are used or not. It'll be interesting to see whether there is any difference in our crowds now that tickets will be scanned and computers will be counting, rather than staff recording with a five bar gate.
  4. I was under the impression that St Johnstone were a Progressive Performance academy, the same as AUFA, rather than Elite. I stand to be corrected though.
  5. Sunderland is a surprisingly good night out. And it isn't a fiver a pint. The Sun is reporting that he has been offered a contract by the Black Cats.
  6. Nope. There was a ball or two used on one of those occasions.
  7. The couple of times I've watched them train it seemed intense enough.
  8. Inverness and Ross County still reporting fantasy figures, I see.
  9. The u20s team doesn't exist, nor for any other SPFL club. Replaced by the reserves for the start of the 18/19 season.
  10. For us it's not so much goodbye as au revoir, thanks to the League Cup draw. Don't mind Falkirk, probably because one of the volunteers at the bar gave as a lift to the pub at Falkirk High after the match last year.
  11. Some players, but not all. These are guys who are getting on a bit.
  12. No we aren't. Training and Academy matches would take place at the Craigie Sports Hub, which involves SAC, AUFC, AUFA, Ayr Rugby Club and Ayr Seaforth. The first team already trains at Ayr Academy, which will be part of the hub.
  13. Nah, the original club disappeared in the 50s and the name reappeared in the 80s. Absolutely no link between the two clubs bar the name.
  14. I had to look it up. Would love Berwick away on a Saturday. Cracking trip, and it might be a long time before it happens again.
  15. 11 December 2004. Ferguson, Henderson, Lyle. Beat Morton 3-2 on 10 December 2005.
  16. Baird and Thorburn were the central defensive pairing for most of the season just finished.
  17. In today's Record Gary Ralston compares Rose Reilly to Emily Pankhurst. That would be Emmeline, Gary.
  18. Ayr United Football Academy has posted on Facebook that a number of the reserve squad have re-signed, with more details to follow.
  19. Finn Ecrepont is a left back or sometimes centre back. Michael Hewitt is a right back, and Nathan Baird can play there as well.
  20. No problem with that. Cuts down on cash handling and relying on five bar gates to record the number of people coming through the turnstiles.
  21. Killie won't participate in the group stages. The top 4 in the Premier enter at the knockout stages.
  22. He is under contract for next season. Signed the extension shortly before going on loan to Dumbarton.
