  1. Well I'm no a killee, I'm no so fucking silly.
  2. Because you bent over to accommodate the wishes of the B teams.
  3. Each to their own but I'd prefer a split with meaningful games against promotion/relegation rivals than yet another diddy Cup which fans and managers won't take seriously until the semis.
  4. See also, people who talk to each other in shop doorways then accuse you off being rude for asking them to move. Italy was full of such types.
  5. Families/obese couples who take up the whole pavement and make no attempt to make room for others.
  6. Most fans approve of the Premiership split. The only dissenters are dullards who can't get their head around "but the team in seventh can have more points than the team in sixth!"
  7. See also "barista coffee" while you never have folk advertising "barstaff lager".
  8. They are a sad bunch, as are most who need to adopt an off-the-shelf identity in later life. However, motorcyclists tend to be much better to deal with than bicyclists.
  9. What happened to Tam McManus? Wasn't he half-decent been he used to be on?
  10. Yet somehow I'm still really disappointed. Let's just move 90% of fixtures to Sunday then that's the Gordon/McIntyre issue sorted.
  11. Switch on. "Motherwell vs Dundee United Cup final". Switch off.
  12. So 47% of them expect to grow during a recession? They seem to be far more confident than this thread would suggest.
  13. Met a German lass (wid, natürlich) whose name was Ogilvie. Apparently her ancestors emigrated to Germany in the 1300s. I thought that was quite interesting so decided to share it with P&B.
  14. Himalayan salt is the greatest marketing ruse perpetuated on humanity. If they simply called it Pakistani salt nobody would be buying it.
  15. Was he not inside-left for East Fife in the 30's?
  16. A Euros or World Cup in Turkey would be excellent, and far preferable to yet another in England/Spain/France/Germany. It's a big enough country, has delivered on many major infrastructure projects, actually qualifies for the thing every now and again, has a passionate fanbase, loads of quality hotels, good internal transport links, familiar with mass tourism and the place is rammed with averagey-looking cockteases. Yes, there's geopolitical risk and internal political "unpleasantness", but few mooted new hosts aren't.
  17. He is a p***k, but there's plenty to rightly castigate him for without having a go at him for stuff you'd ignore if it was someone who wasn't a p***k. Doing so says more about you than him.
  18. I have a feeling that breeding enough insects to replace say half of the world's current meat consumption would create some serious unforseen damage. Much like many "successful" development trials utterly fail when reproduced at scale.
  19. The army of Odin? I assumed they would be orthodox, are they playing up Varangian angle?
  20. You're right, usually and in the vast majority of cases that is probably true. However that leaves a good amount of businesses through incompetence, tryhardery or whatever do discriminate. I wouldn't dismiss Wattoo's claims out of hand. That's the best line? Must be all in the delivery.
